Unintended

Part 4

*MONAS POV*

I yawn and lie my head back down onto Dom's lap and stretch my legs and rest them on Matts knees again as Dom switched the tv off.

"That was good" I say as Dom kisses my head agreeing. Matt Stares at the blank screen, "Matt? You alright?"

He doesn't respond and I look at Dom and he squints.

"Matt?" He asks and then raises his voice in saying "Matthew" and he inhales and looks at me.

"Sorry" he says. I shuffle over to him.

"You okay?" I ask him and he nods and tries a smile. I know he isn't but I won't go into it.

"Okay well we should be going now Matt since yknow school" I say and he nods again and then I stand up and the guys stand with me. Matt grabs his hoodie as do I.

"Bye Dom" Matt says sort of coldly before walking to the doorway half waiting for me. I shrug at Dom and we kiss briefly and I walk out with Matt.

"Shall I come with lunch tomorrow?" Dom asks us as we walk down his drive. I'm about to answer but Matt gets in there before I can start.

"I think since we're only going to be at school for two more days we should eat at the cafeteria yknow as like a farewell or whatever" he says not looking back to Dom. I squeeze my lips together and bring them to the side and shrug at Dom and he smiles awkwardly.

"Alright well I'll see you later then" he says and I nod and smile to him before walking away with Matt.

We walk in silence for a few minutes down the cold lamp post lit streets. I cant take the silence anymore so I start to hum cave and sort of shove him when I walk and I see a small smirk form on his thin lips and I smile as I succeed and I begin to sing it as he hums along

and soon as we get to our street we're singing it loudly together.

We reach my house and we finish the song and laugh. We stop and fade into silence. I smile at him and he smiles back. I'm happy that I got him smiling.

"What's up Matt?" I ask him and his smile drops and he shakes his head.

"Nothing really" he answers looking at the ground.

"Well it's obviously something, why won't you tell me?"

"Because...it's not..well...I haven't figured it out yet...but don't worry it's fine, I'm fine, I'll tell you if something's bothering me you know that"

"Okay...well you better tell me if something is bothering you or ends up bothering you then"

"I will"

"Promise?"

"Y-yes"

"You stuttered"

"I'm just tired"

"Alright well I'll see you tomorrow morning then"

"Yep"

We hug and then I walk into my house as Matt walks a few doors down into his house. I really hope he's okay and I hope its nothing to do with Dom and I. We'll see I guess...

"Good morning Matthew" I greet Matt as we walk away from my house towards the bus stop.

"Hey" he replies. Okay, not as flamboyant as expected but alright.

"How are you?" I ask emphasising the are.

"Fine you?" He asks as we mount the bus.

"I'm great, two days of school left Matt!" I remind him and he smiles as we sit down.
