Two weeks later

It was the day of the first party. Amaan and Rohan's close friend Priti was getting married to Kabir. They had been together for almost eight years. Kabir finally had the guts to marry her. Today was the big day. It seemed that the boys were more nervous than the couple getting married. Priya wasn't any better. She could not wait until her shift was over.

"Hello." Tori voice rang through the phone

"Can you help me pick an outfit for tonight. I don't know what to wear."

"I don't know bae. I have a lot of meetings today. I don't even know when I'm going home."

"Please?" Priya begged. "If anything happens you can say you were about it."

"I'm already apart of it. When is he picking you up?'

"He's not. He had to be there early, so I told him that I'll drive myself there."

"So when are you leaving?"

"Around seven."

"Make it eight and I'll be there by 7:15."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you."

"I know."

Priya got out of work by six. She had time to spare before Tori came by so she got some food on her way home. When she got home, she began her search for something to wear. How the hell am I supposed to pull out nine different outfits. I'll figure it out. Priya had plenty of clothes. Yet she still couldn't pick what to wear. She didn't know how much time passed until she heard a knock on her door.

"Come on. I have a meeting to go to after this." Tori said letting herself in. She walked straight to Priya closet. It didn't take her very long to find something.

"How about this?" Tori held up a red, black, and gold lehenga.

"I can't pull that off."

"If you couldn't pull it off, why buy it?"

"I was a gift from didi."

"Nice gift. Now go put on and stop complaining."

Priya loved it. It was perfect. She took out her braid and revealed her long wavy hair. She did her make up and was ready to go.

"I was so right"

"I guess you were. Thanks for coming over."

"Stop thanking me and go. It's only 7:45"

"I'm leaving." Priya got there in record time. The gods are with me today. Not a single red light.

The boys were looking their best. They were social people and socialized very easily. Rohan and Amaan worked they way around the crowd. Meeting and catching up with people they haven't seen in awhile. Their friends were actually surprised to see Rohan there. After college, he never partied anymore.

"I'm so happy you made it to my wedding. I was actually scared that you might not show up." Priti said giving Rohan a hug.

"And miss your wedding? Never. You know I would never miss this."

"One never knows with you. You just so mysterious."

"Rohan? He is the most transparent person I know." Amaan said joining the conversation with Kabir not to far behind.

"That's not fair. You're his best friend."

"No he's pretty easy to read."

"I like the person you are talking about is oblivious to what you guys are talking about." Kabir stated. "He looks like he is in his own little world."
