We dragged my suitcase to the trunk of my mom's Prius.

"What the heck is in this thing?" mom grunts.

"Just a two weeks worth of clothes, a bow, and some arrows," I replied calmly.

"Did you say a BOW and ARROWS?"

"Yup. I felt like I would need it."

"Uh," She paused to pull the rest of the suitcase into the back of her car. "You know what? I don't care. Bring it. As long as I don't have to take that back out." She gestured to the trunk.

"What?1 Really!" I can't believe it. My mother. MY mother! Is letting me bring a weapon to a camp. Would the camp allow that? I highly doubt it, but who cares? My mom sure doesn't. Or at least that's what she said. "You're the BEST!"

"I know sweetie. Where do you think you get it from?" My mom said smoothly.

"Dad?" I joked.

"I will take that bow right back," She warned!

"You! I get it from you!"

"That's what I thought."

>Yet another time skip<

Driving through the great and beautiful Grand Canyons is always so peaceful. There is usually no other cars driving around so I just sit back and enjoy all the nature.

The surrounding was so familiar. We have gone through this path millions of times. I almost missed the sign for the shooting grounds. As it always read:

Be cautious of stray bullets. Drive at your own risk. We highly recommend to stay off of this road.

Stay safe,
