The bell rang for classes to be over, and I rushed towards my English class. I slid open the door, and Yoosung was already seated at one of the desks, overlooking the plans for tonight. The desk was against the windows, allowing the sun to flicker through the strands of his blonde hair as ir fell over his forehead as he concentrated.

Yoosung and I were a team of sorts. Ever since we both helped the police break a cold case involving an infamous drug dealer that had the police running in circles trying to track him down. That was Freshman year. Now as we were about to head off to college, yet another call had been made, and of course we both were not against helping.

But this time, it was different.

A week ago, there was a card delivered to my doorstep with a date and a location, that location being the city's history museum. I immediately contacted Yoosung before the police, letting them know of the situation. It was the first time that a case had come directly to one of our doorsteps. Literally. Hence being the reason for everyone to take extra precautions, as no one knew what was going to happen.

Yoosung looked up from the scattered sheets of paper and broke into a blushing fit as I stepped up to where he was sitting.

"H-hello!", he said, beaming up at me.

Oh gosh dang it he was cute.

"Hi, so is everything planned out well?", I asked, sliding into the desk in front of him, turning so I could face him.

Yoosung's face fell, a troubled look sprouted onto his features.

"I think I've found a connection, but I do not want to jump to conclusions yet."

I raised my brow, gesturing for him to continue.

"There's been a few heists in other cities, mainly the ones that surround our own.", he said hesitantly. "They caught wind about us, and reached out to the police to pass on the cases to us. All of them are the same, all unsolved, and they all start the same way-"

"A notecard at someone's door.", I finished lamely, letting out a breath of annoyance.

Yoosung nodded before continuing. "So I think we may be dealing with the same villain, or maybe villains. It could be a gang robbery."

I rubbed my forehead, closing my eyes. This all just went from bad to worse. If there was more than one person involved, it could mean more danger for everyone, especially Yoosung.

"You ok?", Yoosung asked, reaching up to touch my forehead.

The suddenness of his action caught me off guard, and I started to blush, leaning back to only hit the back of the desk I was sitting awkwardly in.

He looked at me in surprise and then started to giggle. I grumbled under my breath in embarrassment, and took deep breaths, willing my cheeks to fade back to their pale tone.
