Fruck⬆️⬆️

March 19, 2016
Well, I guess I have new neighbors. These guys keep carrying stuff into the apartment next door. They seem like their really loud, or it could just be their excited about moving in, idk. I got a lot of tips yesterday from the cafe, maybe today I'll get more, my goal is $100 by the end of the week. I finally taught Fruck to come when I call.

Writing about my dog reminded me that he needs a walk. I checked the time and calculated that if I left now, I would have enough time to study before I would need to get ready for my waitressing job at the cafe down the street.

I called my sisters dog, well now my dog, Fruck, and he came ambling down the stairs. "You wanna go for a walk?" I asked him as I clipped his leash on. He started wagging his tail like crazy as I grabbed my gym bag, that held 2 water bottles, a plastic bowl, a granola bar, a couple dog treats, poop bags, my keys, and my phone, before walking out the door.

Fruck is an English bulldog and he loves to sleep, so he's the perfect dog for me. He's white and black with a pink nose. He has one blue eye and one black one. (Picture above) He used to be my older sister's dog, but then she died, and she left him to me. He's about 9 months old now.

I walk him down to the nearby park and we go around the track a couple times. I notice Fruck starting to get wheezy so I sit down on the grass and pour a water bottle into the bowl for him before giving him a treat.

Then I pull out my water bottle to drink and eat my granola bar. Once I'm finished, we head off again and walk around the track once more before heading home. But when we get inside the apartment building, Fruck had too much exercise and he doesn't want to move anymore. He's such a stubborn dog and he won't move, so I have to pick him up and carry him to our apartment. It's not very far just down a hallway, up 3 flights of stairs, and then down a couple doors, I change my mind, that's far.

I manage to pick him up with his chin resting on my shoulder. It's kind of hard to see because he is blocking half of my vision, but I make do. I make it up the stairs and almost to my apartment when I bump into someone. "Sorry!" I exclaim as I hear a loud thud and a grunt. I set Fruck down and brush the dog fur off my hoodie.

I assume it's one of the guys moving in next door because there's a night stand by his feet. "Are you okay?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says turning around to face me. "You?"

"Good." I reply. Damnnnn, he's hot.

Then he notices Fruck. "Awww. Who's this cutie." The guy asks bending down to pet him. And he likes dogs, I think I'm in love.

"Uh, Fruck." I reply.

He stares at me for a minute. "Like Frick and Fuck combined?" He asks seriously.

"No," I say laughing. "It's like a sentimental name, I guess. I don't even know. My sister came up with it. Although, it's also because he weighs like a truck."

"Oh." He says.

"Well my name's Ethan, it was nice to meet you." Ethan says.

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Annabeth." I reply. "And do you need help?" I question, pointing towards the night stand.

"Sure... But you'll have to keep Fruck at home, my brother is allergic. You still wanna help?" He asks.

"Yeah, I have to put him in anyways, he's tired." I say, demonstrating by trying to get him to stand.

"Okay well I live right there," Ethan says pointing to the apartment next to mine, with the door wide open. "So you can just walk right in, and I'll be there, and you can help, I guess, I really don't know what I'm saying." He stumbles to explain.

"And I live right there." I state pointing to the one next to his. I pick Fruck up and stumble towards it. I place Fruck down and get my keys out of my bag and unlock the door. Fruck ambles in and plops down on the ground as I swing the door shut behind me.

I take off Fruck's leash, rinse out the bowl from the walk, and dry it, before placing it into the cabinet where it belongs, then I fill up Fruck's water and food.

I wash my hands, remembering how Ethan said his brother was allergic to dogs, grab my keys and phone, and go next door.

Fuck studying. I think as I push open the door I'd rather spend my day with two hot males.
