Sebastian had me standing in his kitchen while he pulled out his first aid kit. The marks on my cheek did sting, but I felt embarrassed. The only thing that calmed my anger was that Sebastian looked onto me as if I were a girl, so being a girl slapped by another girl wasn't such a big deal.
Although, I officially hated that Lizzy girl. I reached up and touched my cheek and Sebastian pulled my arm down with knitted brows, "don't touch it."
I scoffed, "Who died and made you my mom?"
......
Oh wait..my mom was dead- I huffed as I crossed my arms, "Never mind."
"I'm trying to help." I was taken by surprise when his arms wrapped around my waist and picked me up, sitting me on the island in the center of the kitchen. I swallowed back and stared coldly into his eyes.
"Don't ever do that again."
Sebastian didn't respond to my harsh tone and instead dabbed the wash cloth into peroxide and then up to my cheek. His eyes were glazed with concern and his features look almost soft. I kept quiet as he washed the blood away.
Yes, it stung and I could feel my skin bubble into puffy foam. Although like my mother use to say, it is better to embrace the pain then to never feel it at all.
I slowly fluttered my eyes half mass and took a deep breath. It got extremely quiet to the point I could hear the dishwasher growling beside the sink. When were the dishes started...?
Sebastian's hand moved down towards my chin and he dropped the rag then picked up a white bandage placing it over the scrape. He taped it down and paused his hand over the puffy bandage. I stared silently into his eyes. I could see so much depth in them and so many memories that I could never read. It was a book without a cover and without words marring the pages.
The pad of his thumb made a B-line to my lips and he brushed over them without a blink from his eyes. What was he searching for? A reaction? I blinked once- maybe twice. His face leaned in closer towards mine and I sat unmoved. My heart began to pound a little quicker, but I remained the same.
His mouth stopped right before mine and he pulled my head down until finally his lips spoke at the shell of my ear, "She won't ever touch you again." It was only a whisper, but it gave me goose bumps.
His arms laced around my middle and he pulled me from the island and back onto the floor. I felt so short again.
"I think it will heal just fine. Now...about dinner."
My shoulders relaxed and I felt the air return to my lungs, "Hn.."
"You said you wanted to go out with me."
"I don't remember that talk."
Sebastian tilted his head to the side and his eyes gleamed, "Oh, but I do."
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever. If you want to go then I'm okay with it, but first let me change my clothes."
I walked towards the stairs before he could retort. I found myself strange to want to change my clothes. Wasn't that something girls did? Well, if it made myself more believable then whatever it takes Although the actual reason why I decided to change my clothes was to get away from that man for half a second. I couldn't take it anymore. I felt so confused and lost. More than I ever did out and alone in the city.
I looked in my closet and sighed. I only had a dress left and after that my girly attire was gone. I guess I could re-wash what I wore before, but then that only meant a few outfits and there was no way I was going to prance around in that two piece!
I sighed as I reached for the dress. Whatever. It didn't matter anyway because after tonight's dinner I would leave Sebastian's place for sure. Yea, I was going to do it! No more take backs.-
I walked down the stairs with my arms crossed. This was another embarrassing moment for me.
My eyes met with Sebastian's dark ones and once he noticed me his face turned pale and his lips eased just slightly, "wow....uh..you-"
"Don't tease me! It is all I have left and Alois bought this for me a while ago. He decided 'oh Ciel would look great in this!' But I told him I don't wear dresses and he said that they are good for your boobs yet I don't...-I mean...."
....
"I uh..." I looked away and 'hmped'.
"You look amazing; beautiful in fact."
This sent a cherry blush over my face and I gave Sebastian a side glance. The smile on his face worried me. Did he just compliment me for real?
I was wearing a white and pink dress. It had a corset down the back with a bow to finish it off. It was spaghetti strapped and the front had an opening for the pink to split at the waist revealing white. It reached to my knees and if you gazed lower you would find white high heels that I wobbled in. Although I found it strange I could walk in them better than most girls. Oh I have issues.
I also had let my hair (wig) down and it draped down my back like silk. It still surprised me that it took ten minutes to get dressed into this. Yea and usually it takes girls hours, but not this girl.
Sebastian walked towards me and took my hand, "You should dress this way more often."
I tried not to glare at him, but it was so daring. "Riiightt." My voice was chilling, but it didn't faze him. Cocky bastard..
I moved passed him and grabbed my handbag from off the coffee table in his living room. Suddenly there was a ringing from inside my bag and I quick yanked out my cell phone and flipped it open.
"Hello?"
"Ohh, Cielllll!" Alois' voice never made me happy to hear. I huffed while I shut my eyes. "Can I help you?"
"Yea, you can!"
I looked at Sebastian and his confused face, "Well what is it? I'm in a hurry."
"Meet me at Zander's Steak House tonight."
"I can't, I'm kind of busy tonight."
Alois whined, "But Claude says if you don't then you're fired! It's very very very very very very very very very-"
"Alois!"
"-Very important...."
I face palmed with a sigh, "I really can't make it, so-"
"-Oh and you need to come as a dude because Claude's parents are going to be there. It is a special dinner and they want to meet the employees and I kinda-sorta told his parents you were a guy. My bad. Bad use of pronouns."
I growled, "I can't go, Alois!"
I heard a pathetic sigh, "Oh Ciel, remember that one time I put the cat in the fridge at the café and you got mad at me and told my dad? Remember how he reacted?"
I groaned, how could I forget that? Claude stuffed Alois in the freezer and then the loud mouth complained about child abuse, "Yea...I remember."
"I called CSP." Alois said in a devious tone.
"It's CPS."
"Whatever."
I rolled my eyes and looked over at Sebastian. I whispered 'one moment' to him as I stepped outside the front door. I didn't need Sebastian to hear our little conversation.
Once I was outside I got serious, "Listen....this is hard to explain, Alois, so listen up. I can't just go over there. I'm dressed as a girl and I'm with that rich friend. Remember that one that was at the café?"
"Woahhhh, you have a boy friend?! Can't say I didn't see that one coming." Alois giggled, "but I wanted to be the one that licked nacho cheese off you nake-"
"Don't finish that sentence or else you'll be back in that freezer!"
He got quiet and I breathed through my nose and stared towards the stars. What was I going to do now?
"Is this really that important that I come?"
"My dad really needs you there. He says that his parents don't like me that much. I don't understand why, I'm super model sexy and have you seen my ass on a walk on stage as I flash my hot pink mini skirt without a shirt on and if you add some nacho cheese, holy shit! I'm telling you-"
"Alois PLEASE stop talking." I almost banged my head into the railing of the porch light. This kid had sooo many problems, "I don't want to know. Not ever...."
"I didn't know you wanted some of this." I could imagine him touching his chest as he said that, but nothing was left to the imagination when it came to Alois.
"Okay okay, so I need to meet you at this restaurant at what time?"
"Ohh Ciel, you're an angel!"
"Whatever, just give me the time." I grumbled.
"Seven PM!"
I sighed, "Okay okay I'll be there." I rubbed my temple with my free hand.
"As a guy! Don't forget! Dress sexy!"
I hung up on the loud mouth and walked back through the doors, "Sorry about that. My friend needed me to do...something...and....anyway uh...lets go. But first can I grab something from my room?"
Sebastian looked terribly confused, but he nodded, "Sure."
Despite how confused he was he never questioned me about what I was doing. I grabbed an extra pair of boy clothes and stuffed them in my bag.
Finally Sebastian and I headed out to dinner and I knew this was going to be bad.
"We're going to Zander's Steak house for dinner. They're food's amazing." I lied. I never been there before.
Sebastian nodded with a upturn of his lips, "Anything for the lady."
