Dreams// A Lizzza and David fan fiction

Chapter 4

"David, you haven't said anything other than what happened. Are you ok?" Liza asked me, putting her hand on my shoulder. Wow. She really was worried about me while I was gone. I've never had someone who cared for me like that.
"Yeah, I'm fine. It just happened so fast, yet took so long. I don't know what happened. I don't even know where we are." I said. What I saw was really scarring. They were just little girls. I don't know if it was some parallel universe or something. I then felt guilty. I somehow brought Liza into these horrid woods. "Liza, I'm sorry. I don't know how I did it, but I brought you here, and now I don't know how to get you out." I said while looking at my feet.
"David, don't be sorry. If you're stuck here, than I'll be stuck here too." Liza said, looking me straight in the eye. We sit there, silent. I close my eyes and think of all my friends, Alex, Zane, Scotty, Nik, and Gabbie. I don't know where Gabbie is. All I want is for her to be ok. She has always been such an amazing friend. That's when I felt it. The tug again, stronger than the first time. I opened my eyes to see that we were back in the Target parking lot.
"Liza! Look! We're back!" I said as I stand up and grab Liza's hand. Except somehow, it was dark outside. "Liza, what time is it?"
As Liza pulls out her phone she says, "10:10 PM. How long were we there for?" Liza asked, looking very confused. I ignored her question and thought about calling Gabbie. Maybe she got out of that place. I ran to Liza's car and opened the passenger seat car door and grabbed my phone. I turned it on and saw that I had three missed calls from Gabbie.
