Prologue

Maple Latimer was only 10 when she caused the destruction of the small town that she lived in, the kids at school never did like her after that, alienation became her strongest fear, and closest friend. 

Susan and Aaron Latimer were afraid of and for their daughter, yet, they wore brave faces to mask their true emotions, fearing that if they were not strong for her, then no one would be.

Moving from country to country, city to city, town to town had become the only concrete thing for Maple Latimer, whether it was because of the past catching up or because Maple's strange abilities would make themselves known.
