"Bakit ba kanina ka pa nakatitig saakin?" Seungcheol asked while taking a sip of his drink. He woke up with a massive headache today, and he can't say that Jihoon's not helping. Sa lahat ng taong pwedeng tulungan si Seungcheol ngayon, si Jihoon lang talaga ang hiningian niya. After all, Jihoon knows him the most. Mula sa timpla ng kape niya hanggang sa ayos ng mga damit niya, it was like Jihoon's his mom for some reason.
"Ano na naman ginawa mo kagabi? Bakit parang ilang araw ka nang hindi natutulog."
Seungcheol massaged his temples before trying to stand up, Jihoon stopped him.
"Okay, I tried finishing my raps."
"For three days straight? Hyung, okay ka lang? You're the least person I thought would overwork himself." Seungcheol, according to Jihoon, is the one who can't stand not sleeping the most after Soonyoung. Even though he's a morning person and Jihoon's not.
The eldest remained silent before hugging his Rilakkuma doll tight to his patterned pajamas. Para talagang bata, Jihoon thought.
"Hyung, dapat nagpahinga ka man lang."
"Ayun nga ang ginawa ko, Jihoon. I slept for like, what? Fourteen hours straight, hindi ba?"
"Yeah, that's basically why you're having a massive headache right now," Jihoon touched the latter's forehead, "and high temperature."
It's not like ngayon lang nadatnan ni Jihoon na nilalagnat si Seungcheol. He's the first person to notice, actually. Mukhang lasing maglakad si Seungcheol papunta sa living room nila, and the others thought it was normal dahil na rin sa haba ng tulog nito.
But it wasn't, for Jihoon clearly remembered how Seungcheol acts when he's not feeling well. Maybe it's because it's once in a blue moon, making the latter remember every bit of it. Including Seungcheol's submissiveness when he's sick.
Jihoon shook his head. Ano na naman itong pinag-iisip niya?
"Mingyu made lunch today. Iiwan ko na lang dito."
Napangiti si Jihoon paglabas niya ng kwarto. Naalala niya kasi ang cliche moments nila ni Seungcheol dati matapos ng ilang araw na nilalagnat si Seungcheol. It was the time where they shared the most to each other, owing to the fact that they spent hours talking. There was this part where Seungcheol was being dramatic and all, just because he never experienced dating before. He made Jihoon act as if he was the latter's girlfriend which made Jihoon annoyed, of course. Aba, kalalaking tao ni Jihoon.
Jihoon, on the other and, would tell the latter about his experiences in dating, in which Seungcheol would raise a brow like he's doubting the younger.
As Jihoon looked back at his past, napansin niya na wala naman talagang nagbago kay Seungcheol. He's still that fluffy guy who acts like a five-year-old when he's sick (or when he needs something) The change was only between him and Seungcheol, it was only the growing wall that Jihoon built himself. God knows how much he wants to wreck it.
He wondered if he could remove that wall in an instant if he could only tell Seungcheol about his feelings.
Well, it doesn't matter to Jihoon now. Basta ang sa kaniya lang, mahal niya ang tao. So what if he could not return his feelings to him? Jihoon can't imagine himself having this light feeling in his chest because of someone else, though it might have been too cliche to hear. Gano'n talaga, duon talaga nasabi ni Jihoon na mahal niya si Seungcheol.
Everything screams for Choi Seungcheol. The love songs in the radio, the songs he wrote for the album, the movies the group would watch together. Even the books Wonwoo would recommend screams for Choi Seungcheol. That poem of Elizabeth Browning? How Do I Love Thee, as far as Jihoon remembered. Nung una ay naco-cornyhan pa siya dito, but now he realized what it actually meant.
Kainis ka, Wonwoo. Bakit ba parang pinapalala nito ang nararamdaman niya kay Seungcheol?
Nakakainis din si Soonyoung, ano ba 'tong pinaparinig niyang kanta? Naaalala na naman ni Jihoon si Seungcheol.
Parang kahit tumakas si Jihoon, hahabulin at hahabulin pa rin siya ng fact na mahal niya talaga yung tao.
"Jihoon-ah!"
"Ginawa mo na akong katulong dito. Sina Soonyoung na lang utusan mo!"
"'Di kita uutusan! Pakinggan mo 'tong rap ko, dali!"
