The dark sky slowly crept up above,
Replacing the pale blue sky;
As the crickets' whispers grew louder and louder,
And the streets of the town grew quieter and quieter.Again and again she sighed
Teardrops tasted like salt against her tongue;
Felt the soft yet sorrowful tears against her skin,
Slowly resisting the sob that is about to escape.Always in her life she felt this lonely,
Engraving to the wall all the reasons why,
Though she have everyone's company around her
Yet there's still this something that's keeping her feel empty.As the clock strikes midnight
Sniffling in all the sorrowful thoughts;
Breathing in and out all the sadness,
The trace of her sorrow casted away like a spell.As she fell deep into slumber,
Wishing for the day the nightmares go
Never coming back to hunt her again.
Never coming back to steal her serene mind away.
