"SARAH!! Wake up!! W-wake u-up!" I scream looking at her in the bathroom and rushing to sit beside her.

"HELP!! PLEASE HELP HER Please Please!" I yell loudly as my words dissolve into sobs.

I saw her mouth open for a second and she mouths to me her last words because she didn't have the energy to muster up the words out of her throat 'I l-love you, take care of y-yourself'

"No! NO! Wake up! Wake up! Don't leave me!" I start sobbing hysterically. I then hear a voice screaming my name and shaking my shoulders.
"Cece? Cece! Wake up! You're dreaming! Celine, wake up!"

I shot up sweating, crying, and screaming. I look up to see my aunt staring down at me with concern etched on her face and worry laced in her eyes.

She looked at me for a second, then she hugged me. I hugged back, burying my face into her neck sobbing.

She rubbed my back soothingly, whispering calming words into my ear until I could breathe properly again.

She pulled away looking at me and said, "It was that nightmare again, wasn't it?"

I nodded because I wasn't strong enough to push the words out of my throat.

She flashed me a sad smile, I couldn't muster up the strength to give it back so I just looked at the clock on my bedside table. It said that the time was 5:03 am on a Monday. A Monday. First day of school!

'Just my luck', I thought to myself.

I finally turned and looked back at my aunt's face & gave her a small smile and said "I'm going to go play the piano in the music room to pass time until school, ok Mer? Sorry, I woke you up."

She nods and says "It's fine honey, just don't get too distracted okay?"

I hug her one last time before she leaves my room. I change into jeans and a graphic tee. I brushed my teeth and ran a brush through my hair before heading downstairs.

Entering the room we kept the piano in, I put my bag to the side and sit by the piano swiping my fingers across the keys. I had a classic song in mind, it was one of my favorites, La Campanella. A beautiful piece.

I let the music take over my body. I closed my eyes and let my finger take the lead (that's what he said lol). When I was finished I heard clapping. Dismissing it as my aunt I turned and almost had a heart attack. Realizing who it was I jumped out of my seat and went to hug her.

"MIA! I missed you and all but you almost gave me a heart attack!" I spoke loudly into her ear.

She pulled back and started laughing, I had to look down at her a little since she was 5'2 and I was 5'7. I looked at her and raised my eyebrow.

"Speaking of which, why are you here?" I asked after we'd calmed down

"Just doing a friend a favor!" She tells me excitedly. I'm guessing she's here to drive me to school, I hug her again glad to not walk to school on this cold windy day.

We get going after she completely, and I mean completely, raids our kitchen. I hop into her car and use the AUX cord on my phone to put one of our favorite songs. We swayed and sang along to 'Ophelia by The Lumineers.

By the time we listen to a few songs, we're pulling up into the school parking lot. Mia then takes this time to talk me into auditioning for Juilliard. I try to tune her out as I'm still thinking of whether or not I wanted to get into the art field.

It's too I early for that anyway, it's literally the first day of senior year and I might be good at academics but I definitely and I mean definitely do not like coming to this hell hole.

Mentally sighing right now. (keeping this in bc its funny)

I tell Mia that we'll talk about this after school since I'm basically brain dead right now and would rather not talk about it.

We enter school and head straight for the crowded office to get our schedules.

When we finally get to the receptionist I say, "Hey Mrs. Lila! Mia and I would like to get our schedules for the semester?"

She waves and nods, turning around to get them. She sent us on our way after giving us the papers, we immediately checked what classes we had together.

"We only have 2 classes together!" Mia says sadly. I chuckle lightly glad we at least shared a few classes.

She sighs dramatically and drags me to our lockers, placing our empty bags inside, we grab a pen and paper just in case. Knowing the school, we would only be briefed about the plan for the first term, nothing else.

We then head to our separate homerooms, I never really understood the point of them since we never did anything. I enter the room and sat towards the back. Resting my head on my arms, I doze off for a few minutes.

Feeling the presence of someone behind me I lift my head and turn it towards the sound of a chair being pulled out. The source of the sound turns his head towards me and frowns slightly before busying himself with his phone. I sigh and laid my head back on my arms. Blake Hill, he kept to himself so I never knew much about him other than what he showed.

He was attractive and many girls flocked towards him, he always seemed to ignore them. They'd stopped trying after a while of him pushing them away, in fact, he didn't seem to have many friends- other than James Daniel. Unlike his best friend he came across as friendly, maybe overly friendly at times, despite this, he never expanded his permanent friend group. If you could even call it that.
