Josh's POV(interview)

We've looked at about 10 girls already. There's one more. Tyler thinks he found his daughter, but I haven't. Maybe she wasn't here.

A little girl. She looked a lot younger than I think she was. More like smaller.

"Hi. I'm Kennedy, but please, call me Ken. I'm a huge fan." She said before sitting down.

"Well, hi there, Ken. Since you know us, how about we get down to business. Tell us about you." Tyler said.

"Um. What would you like to know?" She asked, looking down some.

"What are some things you like?" I ask.

"Well, um, I like art, books, and youtube. I love music."

"Some things you can't stand?" Tyler asked.

"People who are mean or rude just because they know they can be." She answered. Same here.

"What's your story?" Tyler asked. "Why are you here?"

"Um." I could tell she was very uncomfortable with the question.

"You don't have to, if you don't want to." I stepped in. She smiled at me saying thank you without speaking. I nodded in return.

Right then, Kristy banged on the door saying time was up.

"Well, it was an honor meeting you two." She said before walking out.

"What do you think of her?" Tyler asked.

"I like her." I replied. "That's my daughter."

"Alright. Let's get the papers." We get up to Kristy's office.

"Hello, boys. Which ones will you be adopting?"

"I would like Sky." Tyler said. She nodded and grabbed her papers. "And for you, Mr. Dun?"

"Kennedy." I said. She looked confused and disgusted. "What's with the face?"

"Oh. It's just she's not the best girl for you. Nightmares often, crying. She has Post- traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. And depression. Don't even know why. She's been in and out of over 30 homes. She used to complain about them abusing her, but after a while, she shut up. No one believed her. So, are you sure she's the one you want?" Kristy asked.

"Positive." I replied. She rolled her eyes and grabbed the paper work for today. I have to come back in a week to make I permanent. It took a couple minutes but I signed all of them.

When I walk out, I saw some of the girls laughing and walking away from Ken. I quickly ran over to her. It looked like she was having a panic attack. She had her eyes closed, trying to control her breaths. I didn't want to make it worse by touching her, so I sat there, making sure she didn't pass out.

Within a few minutes, she calmed down. She opened her eyes to find me and Tyler, tears stained her face.

I gotta help this girl.
