Girls day

(Maya's POV)

Today me , mum , Ruth , Niamh , topanga and Riley are having a girls day. We're all having w little catch up whilst our life is kinda quite. Today is the day after Lucas's party which was quite successful.

I woke up and went downstairs to get breakfast. After I made some bacon and eggs Lucas appeared downstairs for food.

L- this looks good maya, thanks
M- no problem now eat up huckleberry

We ate the food and chatted. I started walking out the kitchen when all of a sudden I felt very nauseous and lightheaded. I fall to the ground and Lucas runs over.

L- MAYA!!
M- I'm ok
L- no your not

Lucas picked me up and sat me down on the couch. He got me a glass of water and some pills. I lay there for a while and felt better.

L- maya are you sure you should go out today
M- Lucas I'm fine
L- maya I don't want you to take the risk
M- Lucas I will be fine and if anything happens Riley will be there
L- you positive
M- absolutely

The rest of the morning I took really slow because I still didn't feel great. Riley was picking me up at 12 and it was 10:30 so I decided to start getting ready. I wore black leggings , a Bowie t-shirt and I stole one of Lucas's denim jackets because there nice and oversized on me. I popped on my black and white low ankle converse and quickly put my hair in a half up half down bun.

I was finished getting ready at 11:45 so I decided to hang with Lucas whilst I waited for Riley.
L- is that my denim jacket
M- maybe. It looks nice and it's very comfy
L- well I'm glad you like it

I finally got a text from Riley telling me she was downstairs. So I ran downstairs and got in her car. Only riley and Niamh were in the car because the mums were gonna meet us there.

M- hello
N- auntie maya
R- hey peaches you okay you look a little pale
M- yeah just a nauseas morning
R- the perks of pregnancy
N- What's that?
M- you haven't told her
R-not yet, well you tell her?
M- well em honey ur gonna have a new friend
N- wait what
M- I'm having a baby
N- yay so I get to be like a big cousin
R- yeah Niamh
N- cool I've always wanted to be older than someone

Me and Riley both laughed at this because it reminded us of auggie all those years ago. Riley and I talked about completely random things in the car whilst Niamh slept.

We were all going out to lunch and then to do a bit of shopping. Once we arrived we got a table and everyone just started to talk but there was one topic I found it weird to talk about with the mother figures in my life ... the pregnancy

Ru- so dear how is everything with the baby
M- good everything is fine
T- that's good , have you decided if you want to find out the gender or not
M- yeah we are gonna find out
K- that's good baby girl
R- I hope it's a little girl so she can be like her amazing mum

I hated talking about the pregnancy with them I just found it awkward and weird. The only people I really actually talked about it with were Lucas and Riley. once we finished lunch we all went shopping.

I tried to buy some maternity clothes but I'm very picky so It was quite hard. I also accidentally ended up in one of the baby isles and couldn't help but think how adorable they were. This made me really excited for the baby.

The whole time we were shopping Niamh was wanting everything but Riley said she could only have a few things. Once we finished up Riley dropped me of home.
R- see ya later
M- bye Niamh bye riles

I then walked away and up too my apartment. Tonight me and Lucas had no plans so we decided to have a take away and movie kinda night. Well we do that after we finish the sad reality of work. When I walk in I find Lucas typing away.

M- what's up
L- hello to you too. How was your day
M- fine but I'm excited to sit in the couch and watch a movie tonight
L- I'm looking forward to that myself
M- so hurry up and finish working
L- sorry, I'm a little behind because farkle and Zay decided to visit
M- football was on?
L- what no they came so we could eh help farkle prepare for a big speech
M- spill?
L- yeah football
M- it's always the same with you guys
L- it's how guys work. Sports, food and girls i.e you
M- obviously I'm the only girl you should be thinking about
L- and you are my beautiful blond pregnant fiancé
M- your amazing wanting to watch a film and eat pizza girlfriend
L- fine give me 5 mins

We ordered take away and hugged on the couch whilst watching a movie. I'm gonna miss nights like this
