Emily's POV

I got out of bed and checked my phone for any messages from my friends. Oh. Here's one from Remy.

Remy>Hey, there's a party tonight at 8pm. It's a boys soccer team tradition. You can invite your friends.)

Me>Okay thanks. See you then)

I'm kind of nervous about the party but I think it'll be fun. I'm going to go let Claire know.

I put on a black sports bra and a Nike tee. I slid on Adidas pants. After that I grabbed an apple and headed over to Claires.

I waved to the security camera and the gate opened. As usual Cookie ran over barking until Claire called her back in.

"Hey Emily come on in!" Claire Exclaimed and led me up to her room. I sat down on her swivel chair.

"So what's up?" Claire asked excitingly. She was sitting on her bed.

"Oh there's a party tonight. It's like a boys soccer tradition. Remy wants me to go." I blushed.

"Ooooo girl! Can I come?!" She screamed with excitement.

"Yeah sure! He said I could bring my friends. So I guess he's hosting the party. It's at 8pm." I explained.

"Ooooo! We could go shopping like right now!" Claire screeched in excitment.

"Okay! Let's go! You can ride with me!" I said while heading for her door.

"Yeah!" Claire yelled as she went out the door. We ran down the stairs and Claire yelled to her mother that she was leaving and won't be back till late.

"Alright. Town mall?" I asked while starting the car.

"Yes of course!" Claire squealed.

Before we knew it we were walking through the unfamiliar mall doors. We never come here. We've only been here 3 times in our whole childhood. Mainly because of our fashion mom's who supposedly think thier soccer daughters will follow in thier footsteps.

"Let's go to Macys!" Claire said as she lead me to the store that we only recognise because of the commercials on TV.

As we walked into the store the powerful scent of perfume erupted in our noses. Claire and I started to cough but I guess after a couple of minutes we became 'immune' to the smell.

"There are the dresses!" I said while pointing to a sign that read dresses on the other side of the store. We raced eachother over to the dresses while trying our best not to disturb or bump into other shoppers.

"Haha I won!" I screamed as I caught my breath. Claire looked at me.

"Yeah you did." She said out of breath.

-----------

"Emily what about this dress?" Claire said as she came out of the dressing room wearing a stunning red lace dress.

"You look fantastic!" I said in astonishment. This was the first time I've ever seen by bestfriend wearing a dress since I was around 6 years old.

"Thanks! I can't believe it's only $20!" She squealed and twisted and turned in the dress.

Claire disappeared behind the changing room stall leaving me in dress area all alone. I decided to go look at dresses.

One dress caught my eye. It was red and had a belt. It wasn't to short and it wasn't to long. It was just right. I slipped into the dressing room stall before Claire was going to come out.
