After that everyone seemed to quieten down, even their usual loud and obnoxious laughter seems to have been cut short. The silence pierces my usual endless thought train and which leads me to feel uncertain, maybe even nervous.

Just as I seem to get lost in my thoughts, the car stops and everyone scatters to their friends. But not me, I gingerly climb out of the flashy vehicle and slowly begin walking to my brother. Although all I want to do is lose any ties to him at this school I need his help, though I doubt he will acknowledge my presence in proximity to his crowd of so called friends. Maybe I am too harsh to judge them so quickly as I have only met the other met the other people. As I near him I start to lose my nerve but as if he knew I was there he turns around and stares at me. I don't freeze like a deer stuck in the headlights, who do you think I am? Of course being the stupid person I am I continue walking straight into another person who intercepts my path. But this person was like a brick wall, I fell straight down to the ground. I collected my bearings and peered up. I expected to see a large male glaring down at me but what I didn't expect was a medium sized girl of my own age looking down at me. She blinked before extending her hand out to me which I gladly accepted. She hoisted me up as if I weighed nothing but this was expected as anyone could tell she was strong from just looking at her.

"Please excuse my sister" my brother sighs as he tiredly walks over to us.

"No, she is fine as I wasn't expecting...." she begins almost confusedly.

"I see in that case I believe you owe Ivy here an apology" he commands.

I gulp and glance around at the people watching us, no not us me. My eyes widen at this girls mouth opens.

"Wait, no!" I rudely interrupt all the while mentally face palming. "It really isn't your fault as I wasn't looking for around me for people who might be walking as well."

"That's nice of you to say but I was really moving at a....fast and hard pace." she says softly.

I couldn't help but quietly mutter "That's what she said."
