As if on queue, everyone in the surrounding area seemed to laugh. It was utterly humiliating. How did they even hear that anyway? Oh well, it doesn't really matter now. The laughter had abruptly stopped. I was confused as I looked around, I expected to see so many people because the laughter had been of so many but the school ground still only held a few students. Had it just been a non-sensical feeling of being overwhelmed or had it been something else?
"What were you coming over here for anyway?" my brother asks, pulling me from my thoughts.
It takes a while for me to respond as I'm still in shock from the prior event.
