Peeta Pov:

"Hurry up!" I yell at Dellly. She has been in that creepy old cabin for who knows how long. She has been my best friend for years!
She has a little sister named 'posy' and a big brother named 'Gale' He is kind of distant towards me, but who cares?
"Delly hurry up!" I'm standing outside of the cabin in the woods. It's illegal for us or anyone to be in the woods! If a peacekeeper found out about any of this we would be whipped!
She comes out looking satisfied.
"Are you done now"
"Yes Peeta I'm done!"
She pass right by me walking ahead.
"You know that Cabin is dangerous right?"
"Yes, Peeta I can defend myself"
"Oh I know that"
I hear her make that smacking noise with her lips.
"We have to hurry up it's night and you know the peacekeepers be roaming around" I whisper to her annoyed that she convinced me to come out here with her.
Okay so basically that Cabin Delly just went in was where they say people have sex in.Like our age. I'm 16 and I'm turning 17 next month in March.

"Shutup will ya?" I ignore that comback. Delly can be so stubborn sometimes.
When we get to the fences I duck as low as I can because that fence can kill human beings. Just so that we wont be able to go in the woods.
I walk Delly home since I'm passing by it. She lives kind of close to the town. It's complicated.
I walk home trying to be as careful as I can so I wont caugh.
"Katniss!" I snap my head towards the yelling to see a older man grabbing a girl hair dragging her inside. I heard of that name before. I just can not put my finger on it.
When I get into my house I creep inside and see that the lights are off. Well that's a good sign, I guess.

The lights flick on and there behold my father is sitting at the table with a cup of probably bitter tea. We can't afford sugar.
"Where have you been?"
"In the woods." I simply state.
"I told you how I don't like you being out there at night,them peacekeepers can snatch you up and kill you!"
We have been through this conersation millions of time.
"Dad I'm 16 I can take care of myself and it was only for an hour!"
"Go to bed son"
"Night Dad" I walk down the hall and pass through Peeter room to see if he is asleep.
Yep he is. I so don't want to go to school tomorrow. People say a lot of girls have crushes on me, but I don't pay them no mind.
They try to flirt, but I just kick them to the curb. It's very annoying. I'm not trying to brag or anything though.

I change into my pajama pants taking off my shirt, and hopping into bed.
I look up at the ceiling thinking about the reaping. Even though it's like several weeks from now, but days go by quicker here.
This world I'm living in doesn't make since! Anyways I better go to sleep it's kinda weird talking to myself.

Katniss Pov:

"Katniss!" My dad yells at me, but not too loud.He grabs my hair yanking my hair back inside the house.
"Your brothers are upstairs here..."He gives me two plates filled with food.
"Take these and give it to them!" He shoves me upstairs and I go to Rye's room first. Rye is 17 years old and he is in the eleventh grade. I open the door and
here loud music. Rye is on the bed painting something. When he notices me he looks back down and continues doing his work.
"Rye here is dinner" I hand it to him but he doesn't take it.
"Put it over there" He motions to his mine square table. I sit it on top of there and walk out the room with only one plate in my hand.
Rye ignores me sometimes. Especially at school. I don't know if it's because I am in the tenth grade or what! The last time Rye actually acknowledged me was when my mom died!
I was five years old and Rye was six, but moving on! When I get to Tye's room I walk in and see him writting probably his homework.
"Tye dinner is ready" He gladly takes it and says 'thank you'.
I walk back downstairs and see the kitchen dirty as hell!
I do all the dishes scrubbing down all the counters. I sweep all the dirt that is on the floor making sure I get every corner. When I'm done with that I poor some soap on
the floor, fill my blue bucket with water and start scrubbing the floor.
