(Arrives at the hospital and Doctors

has to do a full body search)

DOCTOR: Hello Mrs.Carey we have

seen somethings and we would like to

do a full body search. This is the one

way we can be sure there isn't a life

threatening thing in your way.

MARIAH: I.. (before Mariah can finish
speaking Nick interrupts)

NICK: Yes, doctor you can do that.

Even if she says no you have my

permission to take a look.

DOCTOR: Ok, but may I ask who

you are?

NICK: Someone who cares about

her enough to take good care of her.

Her well being is important to me.

MARIAH: Yes, doctor you have my

consent to do a full body check up.

( Doctor leaves and arrives with a

hospital gown and medical tools)

DOCTOR: We will take a look around

your genital areas to see if he

(Mariah's husband) has caused some

damage. This is a speculum and it's

used to help see the inside of your

vaginal area. It might be a little

uncomfortable, but I will try my best

to make you feel as comfortable as

possible. I also have to do a breast

check in case you are at risk of breast

cancer. I use two fingers to feel

around to make sure there is not an

unordinary lumps. I also have to feel

for cysts they are pretty harmless

Can you please change into this

gown? It'll help us a lot if you could

and I'll give you some privacy.

MARIAH: Yes sir I will do that.

Nick: Alright I will be in the waiting

room while you change your outfits. I

know you're scared I'll be waiting

outside the door until the doctor is

done with the check up.

MARIAH: No!!! Nick stay here with

me please. I'm scared I dont want to

be in here by myself. You make me

feel less scared.

NICK: I wouldnt leave you for the

world.

( Mariah changes clothes and the

doctor comes back.)

DOCTOR: Mrs.Carey could you please

have a seat on the doctor bed and

spread your legs open as wide as

possible?

(Mariah does as she is asked. Mariah

is feeling a lot of pain when she

spreads her legs.)

MARIAH: I think this is far as I can go

it really hurts.

DOCTOR: You're doing very well I

should be able to see pretty well from

here.

( As the doctor puts the speculum

inside of Mariah's vagina she is

overwhelmed by the pain and she

starts crying hysterically. Nick goes

to her and he starts rubbing her

thigh. Mariah cries calms down a lot ,

but she is still crying. The doctor is

shocked by what he sees. He sees

friction burns, scrapes, scratches, and

a swollen cervix. In other words the

doctor knows that he needs to treat

her immediately so she doesnt get

any infections. The doctor checks her

breasts next and he sees nothing

wrong besides the deep purple

bruising around her nipples and the

mid section of her breasts.)

DOCTOR: Ok, Mrs.Carey I see no life

threatening dangers ,but if some of

your cuts and burns in your vagina

gets infected that poses as a threat.

With the proper treatment

everything will be ok.

MARIAH: Burns inside of me? What

do you mean? What kind of

treatment will I need to help with

those?

DOCTOR: First, we are going to

prescribe you some pain killers.

Then, we need

perodelphidyine(*made up just for

this book*) to help with the friction

burns, scratches, and scrapes on the

inside of your vagina.

(The doctor gives Mariah her

medication. He tells her that she needs

to come back in 3-4 days to do another

check up on her. The doctor also tells

her he has to tell the police that her

husband has been abusing her. Nick

tells Mariah he has to use the

restroom and Mariah waits for him in

the waiting room. But as she waits she

sees one something she never wanted

to see again. She wonders whether or

not shes strong enough to face the

thing thats been in her way all this

time)
