Chapter 2: The Party pt 2

David POV
Gabbie dragged over this short girl over by us.
Gabbie: Hey guys this is my friend Liza!
Scotty&Heath: Hey Liza.
Everyone introduced themselves.
Zane: I have seen you on vine a few times.
Liza: Yeah I do vine and YouTube.
David: Oh cool!
Toddy: We do vine and some of us do YouTube. (Not all of them had a channel at this point)
Gabbie: She just moved out here like a week ago
Liza seemed kinda shy but I think it might just be because she's new to LA. She is really cute though and I have seen some of her stuff here and there. Slowly the guys left the conversation and so did Gabbie to get drinks. Scotty offered Liza a drink and she said that she was underage and that she shouldn't.
David: I know how you feel. I'm underage too.
Liza: Yay, then Im not alone in the sober club!
We both laugh. Except she kinda giggles more than laughs. I think that's adorable.  We kept on talking about random stuff and she talked about LA and how it was so different from her hometown. We talked for about a solid 25 minutes and I slyly managed to exchange numbers with her. Not in a romantic way, but just like in a Welcome to LA kinda way. Gabbie came back to where we were and looked like she had been drinking, not a lot though. She took Liza over to some of our other friends. "Bye David! Nice Meeting you!" Liza managed to speak out in the crowd while being pulled by Gabbie. "You too!" I replied. Gabbie took her over to some of our girl friends.

Liza POV
Gabbie: This is Liza!
Erkn&Carly: Hey Liza.
Corinna: Hi im Corinna.
Liza: Hey guys.
We continued with some small conversation. It was fun but it wasn't as nice as hanging out with David. David seemed more genuine and kind. I look over towards him and we made eye contact for .0001 seconds. But it still counted.
I don't know if he was embarrassed or what because he fast walked over to one of his friends, at least I assumed he was, and started to talk really fast. Did I do something? Do I look stupid?

Davids POV
While Liza was meeting some new people, I couldn't help but just rethink about our conversation. I wish I could talk to her more. I looked over at her and tried to mouth read what she was saying, then I realized that I was being really creepy for doing that and that I should just stop. I was on my phone for a few minutes and then looked over at Liza just for one second. I was about to look away when she looked over at me. Just for a split second did we look at each other. I was so embarrassed. Did she know I was looking at her? What does she think of me now? I walked over to my friend Alex and just start talking about my night and what just happened.
Alex: Ooohhhh! David gotta crush.
David: I do not, I am just telling you that there is a new girl who you should go talk to because she doesn't know a lot of people.
Alex: mmhhmmmm........
