Chapter 19: No Trust

David's POV
The next day I went to Heath, Scotty, Zane, and Toddy's house. As soon as I walked in it seemed off. You know that feeling when you walk into a room and everything's normal but everyone just stops talking when they see you. That's basically what happened here. Everyone looked at me. More creepy than usually. Zane said "Heyyy David" in a girly high pitched voice. Everyone couldn't help but smile. I laughed nervously and said "What?" Heath went "Oh you know." In his classic shady snarky voice he has in skits and stuff. He then took a sip of a beer he had in his hand. Scotty just grinned at me. And toddy just went "At least he found someone" under his breath. "What are all of you guys talking about?!" I was still nervously laughing because I do that a lot. No one answered. "Did I miss out on something?" I asked again. "No but apparently we did" Zane explained. Scotty continued by saying "Until Alex told us." Toddy came into the conversation by stating the obvious, well at least it was obvious after I found out. "You know, that you got a thing for Liza." The nervous laughing stopped. I felt a huge lump well up in my throat, I tried to swallowing it but it wouldn't go away. I felt sweat coming on. And then my anger rose. At first I was embarrassed in front of my friends just then I just got flat out pissed, pissed at alex. I stormed out of there fast enough, and loud enough, that you could feel and hear the tension. I didn't scream of anything. Just the power of my raging rushing to my heart pumping my blood fast to make me go faster. I got in my car and drove to meet up with someone.
