~Tyler's P.O.V.~
It took about 15 minutes to walk to school, but thankfully it was warm out. There were hundreds of kids walking in the school, in America we called it high school, but here is Secondary school school, that's gonna take a while to get used to. I already felt like I didn't belong, my accent was different then everyone's, so I kept my mouth shut to avoid attention. There were kids of so many different ages, all walking in different places. I went to the office like Will told me to, there was a line so I waited. when I was my turn there were three more kids behind me.
"How may I help you?" the woman behind the desk asked.
"I uh, need my schedule," I felt kids stare at me while I spoke.
"You must be Tyler," I looked to my left to find a shorter man in a suit, "I'm the Head Teacher, Mr. Kringston,"
"hi," I answered back quietly, he lead me to his office and I got my schedule.
We walled through the halls, the school was very modern, I like it. Mr. Kringston opened a door that lead to a class, I heard a female voice welcoming him and asked what he needed.
"We have a new student class," he said and he waved me in, I walked in and felt 18 pairs of eyes on me, "Introduce yourself, tell the class a bit about you," great more talking.
"Hi, I'm Tyler," I said quietly as everyone's mouths dropped open, "I'm obviously from America, Denver, Colorado, and umm," I couldn't think of anything else to say, " I like soccer, umm I mean football," I forgot they called it that here.
"Thank you Tyler, My name is Mrs. Schulz, take a seat please," she was older, and don't look that friendly.
I walked over to the only available seat against the window with a platinum blond hair and bright blue eyes.
"Hey I'm Olivia, but please call me Livy," she leaned over.
"Hey I whispered back,".
"Livy and Tyler, you guys can get to know each other after class," Mrs. Schultz yelled, Livy and I tried to hold in our laughs.
After class Livy told me about herself, she was obviously popular, she has an older brother, and her boyfriend is the captain of the football team, his name is Xander. She asked me a lot of questions about myself and America, she turned out to be really cool. The bell rang indicating lunch time, while walking I smelt a very familiar scent. I looked around, but saw nothing. I saw a group of older guys (only about a year) talked. One was looking around, looking confused like me. He was tall, dark brown hair, bright blue eyes, and muscular, without being too muscular. I have to admit, he was good looking.
"That's Theo Stroff," A Familiar voice said behind me.
I jumped and turned around to see Livy. I stole one more quick glance and him, he was looking at me. I quickly turned away and walked with Livy to our table. She introduced me to her friend, both guys and girls. We just sat and ate, they all treated me like I was one of them. Livy started talking about her dad getting a promotion. I stayed out of the family conversation until...
"What does your dad do?" I looked up to see everyone looking at me, the person who asked me was a guy I met earlier name Hayden. My heart started to race, should I tell them?
"He's umm... dead," everyone stared at me blankly, Hayden mouthed sorry as I looked down.
"What about you mom?" Livy asked me.
"She's... and artist," I couldn't tell them they were both dead, that would lead me to telling them I'm in foster care, I don't want to be that different.
The rest of the day went by fast, I went to all my classes, meet new people, and learned new things. I noticed that I pass Theo a lot in the halls, he just stared at me confused. It's probably from my accent, I'm talking much more now.
I went home had dinner, read and went to bed. That was my first day of being a real British .
