Dystopian Utopia
Have you ever wondered if our world will become a dystopian universe? Well, I have and it is quite frightful but also fascinating at the same time. The horrors it will unleash though would be its downfall. The beginning of the end, I would call it. Switches that caused reverse gravitation, water instead of the sky, contraptions that caused rain to pour. Surely all these ideas could kill people but the concept behind them is something indescribable and whimsical. I find it psychological, something a human mind cannot comprehend.
The dystopian novels that others write don't interest me that much. It's difficult to visualize exactly what the author is trying to convey and the setting/plot doesn't help either. I wish they were more detailed and simplified; there are video games that display it better. I might as well try another novel and see if it can change my mind about dystopian novels.
I believe that the genre 'dystopia' should be mixed with the 'horror' genre because they fit snuggly together and make the plot intriguing; it makes you want more of the story. The horror aspect of it can describe the fears of what a dystopian universe is and the pros and cons of the world. I may as well create a dystopian novel myself if I ever get the chance. It does sound...thought-provoking.
