Chapter fourteen: 'ight

Emily carried sammy to the bed, layed him in the middle and sat next to him. Leo came in after her and sat on the other side of the bed. He took a small piece of rope from his toolbelt and made a chew toy out of it for sammy. Leo gave it to the puppy and sammy barked happily, and sammy started to chew on it. Emily ran her fingers over sammys soft fur. After a while sammy got tired and snuggled up next to leo. Sammy yawned and his little baby paws smacked leo in the face. Leo hufted and pushed sammy to emily. Sammy didnt mind and kept sleeping, emily kissed the puppy on the head and kept petting him.

"You really do love that dog dont you?" leo said, going under the covers to go to sleep.

"Yeah. Maybe even more than i love you." emily replied, laying down and snuggling next to sammy. Leo rolled his eyes.

"You love us equally."

"Dont tell me what to do valdez."

"Mkay. By the way, nice hair. You and sammy are twinin'" he said with a smirk.

"I would shock you of sammy wasnt here, but since he is, ill settle for this." she smacked leo upside the head with a pillow.

"Hey!"

"Go to sleep. Youre getting on my nerves."

"Fine. Night wonder girl."

"Night love you- i mean-"

"Love you too."

Emily blushed and started to drift off.

"I didnt mean to say that."

"I know." leo said, falling asleep.

Sammy woke emily up in the morning by licking her face repeatily until she opened her eyes. She reluctlently sat up and petted sammy. Leo was still sleeping. She got up and put sammy in his make shift bed. She got back in bed and snuggled next to leo. He put his arm around her and pulled her close.

"Good morning repair boy." she said softly.

"Mornin'" he mumbled in his sleep. She poked him on the face. He opened a eye a her.

"Get uppp. We gotta get to camp."

"Cant it wait till mornin?"

"It is mornin get up." she said shocking him. He jumped up and glared at her. He grabed his pillow and smacked her on the head with it. Emily grabbed hers and they had a pillow war. Sammy kept barking at leo so he stopped. Emily laughed and said,

"Ha ha i win!"

"Oh whatever," leo said. She smiled and got up. She walked to her dresser and grabbed jean shorts and a tanktop. Leo got clothes out of his tool belt and went to the bathroom. She got dressed and undid her hair to brush it. She braided it down her back in a fishtail braid. Leo walked in, and put on his toolbelt. He grabbed emilys bag and slung it over his shoulder while emily picked up sammy and leos jacket. As they walked out, leo asked emily is he was ever going to get his jacket back.

"Nope." she said popping the 'p'. Leo sighed and they got to summers apartment.

Emily put her hand up to knock on the door and summers mom opened the door before she could knock, so it looked like she was going to knock on wendys face. Emily quickly put her hand down.

"Good morning." she said politely.

"Good morning emily," she said. She nodded at leo," summer and percy are in her room. Its quite a sight. Well im off to work. Bye!" she walked out the door leaving it open for them to walk in. Emily and leo shrugged together and walked in. Emilt lead them to summers room. The door was a blue police box. Leo smiled, reconizing the tartus. Emily opened the door.
