(I don't think a lot of people liked my lastest ones so let's have this!!)
(Also I've neglected this story for awhile, I've been working on my main Tomtord fanfic if you were wondering where I went)
//TomTord//

It was pretty late, Tord was working overtime in his small corner coffee store. He yawned a little, gazing outside to the glittery snow that carefully fell down. It was a pretty sight, Tord admitted to himself. He adverted his gaze to the two people in his coffee shop, the ones at the table chatting and laughing. 'I wonder if they're a couple..' He thought to himself, but shook his head. 'You idiot, its rude to ask if two people are dating, don't snoop in their business!' He scolded himself, returning his gaze to the large set of windows.

After a few minutes(and I almost fell asleep) the door's bell, signalling it had been open, chimed. I perked my head up, my eyelids lazily opening. A male had walked in, his mouth and neck trying to bury itself in the neck of his blue hoodie so he could keep warm. His ears were awfully red along with his wind-stricken face. "Hello, sir, what can I get you?" I blinked hazily. He looked up towards me, and I almost shrieking. His eyes were just... Sockets?!
I seemed to obviously flinch, my hands raising in shock as some sort of unease settled on my features.

"Most people who stare seem to be scared or disgusted and I take it your both." He spat a bit angrily, and I slowly relaxed.
'Geez, what's his problem?' I asked myself but sighed, "Sorry, what would you like, sir?" I asked again, just in case he didn't hear me.
He hesitated but sighed, "A small strawberry caramel mocha, please." He murmured. I couldn't tell if he was blushing or if it was just from the cold and the whip lashes of wind on his face, but his cheeks were growing red.
Something that baffled me too was that was more of a cold drink. Everyone else ordered things like Vanilla Lattes, Black coffee, or just a simple hot chocolate. I didn't judge, though. As long as this place gave me the cash I worked for I'm good.

I tapped in his order and nodded, "Take a seat while I prepare it," I offered kindly and he only seemed to narrow his eye.. sockets? Erm.. he seemed to glare at me.
"I-Is.. Is something wrong?"
"I wanna chat." He said in a softer demeanor than what his expression read. It caught me off guard and I found myself in a stutter. "W-w-wh--"
"I don't bite." He stated simply, "Plus, it must get pretty lonely in here. I don't see any other coworkers, and I believe it's almost one in the morning." He blabbed as I slowly got his cup.
Everything he said was kind of right, working in a small corner store was lonely and tiresome. I barley got social interaction besides the side "hello" than the orders of the customer before they sat down and I got to work.

I slowly shrugged, "Yeah, I guess, I can talk."
"Well, you seem to be interested in my eyes." The man began, and I glanced up at him. "Yeah... Are they black or just sockets..? And are you blind?" I asked curiously.
"Sockets. Somehow I can still see out of them!" He chuckled softly and I blinked in confusion. "Huh, that's odd.." I said mainly to myself.
I soon finished his drink and slid it to him.
"That'll be seven forty-five." I smiled a bit. He got out a pen, piece of paper, and some cash.
I waited patiently before he slid the paper over to me with some cash and took his drink. "Keep the change." He clicked and started walking away.

I slowly picked up the money and counted it. He payed for the drink and I got an extra fifteen dollar tip! Score!
When the bell rang on the store front I knew he was gone, so I decided to read the note.

"Dear Tord,

I saw your name on your name tag so don't freak out about how I know it. My name's Tom, sorry i didn't mention that. Before this turns into something like Taylor the Latte boy I'm just gonna go ahead and give you my number.
879-645-1183"
(The number is fake please don't try and call Tom. I've known people to do it)

Some pink tinted my cheeks and I smiled brightly, this was so sweet. I'll make sure to call the number later.
