The word 'Bystander' rings in my head

My feet root to the ground, so still

My eyes just stare,
waiting

My thoughts are going in a spiral, thinking I shouldn't get involved

My voice is being held back , I feel as though I'm tied down not to say anything

The others just watch , I follow there lead

The feeling of guilt rises in my stomach as I watch

As I watch them get made fun, I bowed my head in shame

At the end of all this, I end up like the others

I chose to ignore
