Young as we were,

So fond of you I used to stare,

Lost in your eyes every minute of the day,

To look away, I couldn't dare.

Young as we were,

So fond of you I used to stare,

Wishing I could spend with you,

Not only a day,

But every day.

Young as we were,

So fond of you I used to stare,

Used to get lost in thoughts,

Lost in another world, with you there.

Old as we are,

So fond of you, I still stare,

Wish to get back in time,

To make things better than they've reached here.

Old as we are,

So fond of you, I still stare,

I know I've lost you, but still dare,

To say I still love you, even when you're not here

But over there
