You're there
Not far away, not even close
But you're there
I don't see you a lot,
Don't talk to you that much,
Know nothing about you,
Don't even know what you've done
But you're there
You know nothing about me,
Nothing about my heart
Nothing about what life got to me
But you're there.
Showing up every once and a while
Checking on me, giving me time,
Making my heart skip a beat
Drawing a smile on my face
Reminding me of my broken heart
And making me wonder why you're even back
But all I can say to myself
Is that...
You're there
You're still there
And still reserving a place in my heart
