This math class was so boring and it didn't make it better that the teacher always repeated himself like three times before we moved on. I sighed and pull out my sketchbook and my art case. I flipped to the back before starting to draw some flowers.
"And Beyoncé, the formula we use for this is...?"
"Cosh x dx" I answered.
"Which is equal to what Onika?"
"Sinh x + C"
"Good job" he said before turning back the board and writing what we said down. I looked over at Nicki who was staring at her phone. I took in all her facial features. Her eyelashes were really long and her nose looked way longer on the side than from the front. She had pretty delicate features which gave her pure beauty. The fourth period lunch bell rung snapping me out of my thoughts. I closed my art case and put it away. I closed my sketchbook and held it in my hand.
"You ready?" Nicki asked standing in front of my desk. I nodded and we left out of the room and went to our lockers where we met up with Kehlani and Ciara. Although I still feel like Ciara doesn't like me, she's been nicer than when we first met.
"What are you doing after school today?" Nicki asked.
"I'm going to the art store to buy calligraphy pens so I can make thicker letters"
"You should come over to my house"
"Who's going to be there?"
"Just me, Kehlani and Ciara"
"I guess"
"You going off campus for lunch today?" Kehlani asked.
"I'm not hungry I'm just ready do go home"
"Aww come here baby" Nicki said opening her arms. I walked into them embracing her into a hug. She rubbed up and down my back to soothe me. I wasn't stressed or nothing I just didn't want to be here today.
"Y'all cute or whatever" Ciara said causing us to pull away.
"I didn't mean for y'all to stop"
"Bitch stop lying" Kehlani said closing her locker.
"I'm not"
"Next time we won't" Nicki smiled wrapping her arms around my waist. We walked in the cafeteria and sat at our usual table.
"Y'all would be a cute couple. I mean y'all both single right?" Kehlani asked. We both nodded.
"Umm I don't think so" Ciara mumbled.
"And why not?" Nicki asked.
"I just don't think y'all will last long" she shrugged.
"Just because I don't go around being a hoe trying get with every athlete there is like you that means my relationships won't last?"
"She ain't that pretty anyways." Why is she always being so mean?
"She doesn't have to be pretty to you she's not yours."
"She not yours either!" I sighed and sat in Nicki's lap and put my face in her neck softly kissing it.
"You smell good" I complimented.
