"Nicki, can you come with me to the bathroom please?" I asked. This was first period so we weren't doing anything important at all.
"Sure, Mrs. Williams we're going to the bathroom"
"Ok"
I walked ahead of her the whole way to the bathroom. When I did get the I checked to see if it was empty, it was. Nicki came in behind me and stood by the door. I paced the floor four times before I stopped and took a deep breath.
"Can I talk to you?" I asked.
"Of course, are you ok?" She asked stepping closer to me.
"Yeah, it's just I didn't want to tell you this in front of them and-" I took another deep breath.
"I really like you Onika"
"I like you too"
"And I want you to be my girlfriend"
"Well I'm shocked that you asked first but yes." I smiled.
"Good. I was so nervous"
"I could tell. You were pacing and the floor and shit. I didn't know what was happening" she laughed opening the door.
"I like that though, you were really concerned about me" I smiled leaving out of the bathroom.
"I was. Why didn't you want to tell me back in the classroom?"
"Ciara and there was always the possibility that you would say no. In my opinion it was just a lot easier if you said no in private"
"Why would I tell you no?" I shrugged walking into the classroom. I followed Nicki to her seat and sat in her lap.
"Ok y'all if you ever had a daughter what would you name her?" Kehlani asked.
"Umm Aryn Nicole"
"Erin?"
"I'd spell it like A-R-Y-N because that means body of a goddess and brains like a genius. If you had a daughter what would you name her Nicki?"
"Dahlia Faith"
"That's pretty"

"I would name my daughter Isabella Kai" Ciara blurted.
"Bitch ain't nobody ask you. I'm tired of you always interrupting what I'm trying do with my girl" Nicki snapped.
"You switching up over some hoe?"
"She's not a- you know what? Fuck you. You with that bullshit early this morning"
"Yeah so Imma stay out of this one" Kehlani said.
"Calm down" I whispered in her ear.
"No, you don't know how bad I want to beat the girl ass for calling you out of your name."
"Look" I grabbed her chin and made her look at me. "Not everyone is going to like me. If they have a reason or not it's ok" I told her.
"I know but that was uncalled for"
"Shh" I kissed down her jaw line. "It's ok" I turned my back to her and she started running her hands up and down my sides.
