My parents never told me that my school doesn't let out for Summer. Crap. After school today, I ran into the house and went up to the room to find Jake. He was not there. I called for him but got no reply. I heard a phone ring next to me. I picked it up. It was Jake! "I'm comming..." and then the phone hung up. A few seconds later, he appeared right infront of me. "I need to talk to you." "What about, Max?" He hissed as he said my name. "Your father. I know what happened to him!" "My...father? You think I care about my father. After all he's done to me?" He roared with rage. His head began to spin slowly around and around as he grew more angry. "No, but I know more about what he did to himself. I know what happened. Come with me Jake..." He slowly stopped raging and stood in silence. " Jake? Are you ok?" He looked at me with the creepiest expression on his face and said, "Yes." Ok...weird, but ok. I lead him to the old tree. "Do you see that thin mark with a small piece of rope stuck in it?" "Yes. What about..." He stared in silence at the mark and the piece of rope. He went up to the mark and managed to pull out the rope from the tree. "This is what he bought when he went out to the store that day? A rope. He planned the whole thing. He didn't even care. We need to find him," he said. "How are we going to do that?" I asked. "I need to go down." "Where? Down where? Oh, god."
