Its complicated

Chapter 7

                                                                                       Miras pov

The pain was the only thing that i kept thinking about, and how i wanted it all to end. The sounds of my bones snapping and breaking filled the silence along with my screams. 

"Mira! You need to stay calm.Try and look at me. Baby please look at me." I glanced up at the voice. Jaces face was blurry from my tears.

"Please make it stop. Help me."

He grabbed me and pulled me in close. For some reason that made the pain less. 

"Listen to my voice. You need to take in deep breathes in and out. Slowly, don't force it."

I did exactly what i said. The pain started to go down to a dull, but every time a bone snapped that was the only pain i felt. I hunched over out of jaces arms leaning on all fours.

"Jace get out of the way!" Someone yelled.

That's when i felt everything rush to my head. i could feel the transformation finishing. The fur sprouting . That's when I felt nothing. Just numbness. I opened my eyes. It was crazy how much my senses had heightened. It was like i could see miles away. That smell. Oh my god what was that amazing smell. It was a mix of pine trees and citrus. It was the most amazing mixed smell ever. I looked around till my eyes landed on Jace. He stood there staring at me in shock. 

"What?" I tried to say but it only came out as a bark. Laughter filled the forest. I turned to try and look at myself all I did was chase what seemed like a bushy tale. I looked back at Jace. He just stared at me with such happiness. All I wanted was for him to hold me.

"You need to try and change back, its going to be a little hard, but all you have to do is think about your human form. How you look, the way your hair felt when you brushed it, the feel of your skin the way you breathed and laughed. Any human quality you had take it all in detail by detail. It is going to hurt  but as soon as you keep turning it wont hurt anymore. It will be the most natural thing you will ever feel in your life. "

His words were so soothing, my body wanted to respond with every word he was saying. And it did. I could feel the fur disappearing back underneath my skin and the bones cracked shortening back to its original shape. I cried out as I shrunk back to my small weak form. Yes it was painful but it wasn't as painful as the first shift. I looked up at Jace . He quickly covered me in some kind of blanket before the breeze of the wind could chill my damp skin. 

He helped me to my feet and we slowly walked back to the house, where I could put on warm clothes, and maybe some food as well. I was starving. 

"Don't worry sweetheart, I am going to get you some clothes but after a warm bath first. That will help loosen your muscles. Your body is still needing some recovery. Once your done ill bring up some food to you." He said it so soft I wanted to bury myself into him. No one was ever this kind to me. He made me feel wanted and loved. I never wanted to loose this feeling. 

My body began to shake and when it did he wrapped his arms closer around me. I could hear everyone following close behind. But not to close, I felt them wanting to be a safe distance away not wanting to crowd me. It was weird now, all the sounds and smells that I could sense. It was amazing, but Jace's smell. His smell was the most captivating of all. It was a mix of pine trees and a strong musk. It was an alpha smell. Someone you wouldn't want to mess with.  

We finally made it to the house. The warmth enveloped me in seconds and I just wanted to bathe in it. "Don't worry were almost there."

He helped me upstairs and into my room. I sat on the bed while he went into the bathroom to draw a bath. In seconds he came back out with the sound of water coming from behind him. A large fluffy brown towel in his hand.

"Here, why don't you go get undressed and ill go make you something to eat. Ill be back in a few minutes." His hand was outstretched towards me handing  me the towel. I graciously took the towel not wanting to wait to get into the bath. Jace turned around and walked out closing the door slowly behind him.

I walked to the bathroom which waited patiently for me to get in.
