Me and Kayleigh walked through the forest talking in hushed tones as we strolled around. By this point I was pretty sure we were walking in circles. It was starting to get dark, and I was feeling uncomfortable walking around the woods in the dark, but I didn't mention it and instead I just carried on walking as Kayleigh enlightened me with information.

"So baically, what you're trying to tell me is that you're 'soulmate' turns into a big dog every full moon?" I asked summing up what she'd just said.

"Not just on full moon's, they can shift whenever they want to."She said as though she was talking to a small child about why they can't pick on other kids. "But apart from that you get it!"

"No I don't." I groaned rubbing my temples, "Remind me how they can talk without talking again."

"They have a thing called mind-link which is like calling someone but they don't have to talk or use a phone they just kind of send one another their thoughts." Kayleigh said, I could tell the thought baffled herself as well, but she quickly covered it up and carried on acting as though she knew it all.

I snorted as a thought came to me, and I quickly answered Kayleigh's silent question, "So you're telling me if one of them were to get a boner they'll all know?"

"It's selective, Lexie." She sighed shaking her head. I quickly raised my hands in surrender at the look she gave me.

At first I had considered calling the local mental institution to prepare a room, but she quickly assured me that she was very much saine. Before I could actually fish out my phone however, Kayleigh grabbed it and threw it at a tree, and then she stomped on it a couple hundred times. And after I screamed at her and practically shook some sense into her she promised that she would buy me a new phone which definitely made me think that she was completely bonkers considering the only time she ever bought me anything was when I was seven and she was six and a half and she flushed away my newest doll, and she only replaced it because I threatened to tell our ever so precious father.

Anyway after I lost my temper and almost smashed up Kayleigh as much as she smashed up my phone, she showed me a video of her boyfriend 'shifting' and although I was very wary of the video and the fact that you could easily edit videos in this day and age, I had to start trusting my little sister because as much as I hated to admit it, it wasn't her fault that ur father was happier with her family than he ever was with mine.

"Well I'm sorry that I don't know facts about what I thought was a mythical creature that didn't exist!" I said sarcastically as I looked for my way out of the forest. Kayleigh followed behind me heaving out long and irrated sighs as she walked.

As we were walking Kayleigh muttered an excited 'Oh my God' which grabbed my attention, I looked to where she was directing her stare and I saw Jess standing there just as shocked as we were.

"Hi guys!" She said snapping out of her astoundment, she put on a smile, and I'm sure even Kayleigh who doesn't pay attention to anyone's emotions except her own's could tell that Jess' smile was as fake as a barbie doll.

I lifted my hand as a sign of friendliness whilst Kayleigh ran over to start a deep and meaningfull conversation with Jess.

"Kayleigh!" I called to grab her attention, "I have to get back now, but I trust you to look after yourself and get yourself home. If I need you I'll call you with the house phone, likewise if you need me call the house phone."

She nodded and hugged me goodbye, I once again lifted my hand at Jess who smiled politely at me before I started my walk. I was still searching for a way out of the woods when the sky started to turn pitch black, meaning I couldn't even see my hand if I placed it in front of me. With no phone and being completely alone my heart was racing.

Suddenly I felt the floor come crashing forward as I smashed against the floor after tripping over something on the floor. Whatever it was that I'd tripped over I'd caught my foot on it and when I fell my leg was twisted to the side. I bit my tongue as pain pulsed through my body. I tried to unhook my foot from whatever had been tangled with it but I couldn't even see what it was. My hands were clasping around the floor trying to save myself as pain cursed through me and my heart slammed against my ribs.

Paranoia kicked in as I started to hear noises, and soon enough I started to hear howling, everything Kayleigh had just told me had came crashing back and I felt my blood start to drain as I started hear the howling get louder and louder. I grabbed at my leg and yanked at it until finally my foot was free.

Not being able to hold it in any longer I let out a small sob as I attempted to stand up but my foot screamed in pure agony and I ended up back on the floor. I dragged myself away from the howling sound, I even reached out for a tree, and finally my fear hit the max when I heard growling coming from behind me. I clutched onto the tree I'd reached out to and shut my eyes tightly, just waiting for a sharp set of teeth to sink into my leg and drag me away.

What I didn't expect however was the slight whimpering coming from above me. I opened one eye and in front of me stood a massive wolf, I felt like screaming. I felt like screaming so loud my tonsils would fall out, but something inside me stopped me from actually doing so. I squeezed my eyes shut once again, and then finally the adrenaline wore off and I felt myself slipping away. The last thing I did was open my eyes and in front of me stood a figure, not a figure of an animal but of a human. My eyes shut tightly and my body fell asleep.

The last thing I felt were two arms scoping me up and holding me tight. Electric shocks flooded through my body and I would have shivered in pleasure had it not been for passing out.

Heyyy guys! I am so sorry about not posting this chapter yesterday, long story short I was staying at a friend's house and my laptop couldn't connect to her wifi !But I promise to update on Saturday next week! Thanks for reading guys!
