WARNING THERE IS SOME CLICHE CHEESY SHIT COMING UP. PS as usual this chapter isn't edited!

As I walked out Hunter called me back, making me smile. Yet I continued to ignore him, a cheesy smile on my face whilst I slid into my car, I'd taken to ignoring the broken window until I could be bothered to drop it off at an auto repair shop. My smile was as big as ever as I answered my phone after it had been ringing. I started the car, my radio being used as a speaker.

The engine roared to life after I'd put the key in the ignition. "Hello?"

"Lexie?" I heard Kayleigh ask from the other end of the phone.

"What do you want?" My voice came out colder than I had intended, but I wasn't prepared to let her ruin my stupidly cheesy mode.

Her flinch was practically visibly even over the phone, "Mum-I mean Claire has rescheduled her lunch for a dinner, she wants you to be there. I would quite like for you to be there too."

"So you throw me out and then you tell me you want me at some the family dinner?" It was impossible not to laugh as I said it, because well-It was ridiculous.

"I didn't throw you out, Lexie!" She said defensively, "I just thought it would be best if you calmed down!"

Suddenly I heard someone tapping on my window, I turned to the side slightly and raised an eyebrow at Hunter as he stood there, a smirk on his face. He motioned for me to roll the window down to which I did, my cheesy smile making a re-appearance.

However contrary to my belief of him just wanting to talk, he crammed his arm through my car window and opened the door from the inside. He let himself in and slid down next me in the passenger seat.

"I don't care if you thought it would be best for me to calm down or you kicked me out, Kayleigh, but I might come to dinner for my mother's sake. I have to go now." Were my parting words to her as I hung up on her.

Turning my attention to Hunter I squinted at him, trying to figure out what his game was, "What ever can I help you with Hunter?"

"I'm going to start wooing you." He stated as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"But I have somewhere to be." I trailed off, still trying to understand him.

"And I won't keep you from that, but if you carry on just sitting there you're going to be late." He said slowly as though trying to explain Pythagoras theorem to a three year old.

I rolled my eyes at him and re-started the car, I grabbed a pair of sunglasses and put them on so that I could see properly against the sun. One of the things that I loved more than anything in the world was my beautiful 2016 Mercedes-Benz SLK, of course my BMW r1200 motorcycle was also precious to me, but my car was more important to me, simply because I didn't particularly like motorcycles as much as I used to. When you get into a motorcycle accident and end up with a broken ankle and six stitches you start to see the danger in them. But one of my favourite things about my car was how smooth it was on the road, the way you could feel it practically gliding down the road.

"Who was that on the phone?" Hunter asked curiously.

"Someone." I answered vaguely, not even sparing him a glance.

"Where are we going?" He asked staring at me.

"The carnival to meet up with some of my friends." I responded, still not taking my eyes off the road.

After that the ride was silent again, music playing in the background, once we finally pulled up at the bustling carnival, Hunter jumped up and disappeared. I shrugged my shoulders to myself and looked around trying to find Shelly and the rest of the gang. Once I finally caught sight of them I flashed them all a huge smile and ran over to them. I hugged them all and light hearted conversations began to flow as we looked for Alex.
