Guilt

Turning the Xbox on again after yet another bad day at school and yet another long hour full of none stop homework, James starts to build minor excitement when turning on his Xbox because he knew that this time when he goes on his friend Smyra will be online, but he isn't sure what she really is like!

Getting online he scrolls down his friends list he stumbles across Magnumchomper, his heart started to smash against his rib cage and hesitated to press the "invite to party" button, but after deliberating for a couple of seconds he sent the invite. After a couple of minutes she hadn't joined the party and he started to panic and wonder if he had done something wrong. Coming off the game he went to the Xbox home page where you can check whether people are in parties or not and it said she was! To his surprise he felt small rejection. Not understanding what had happened he went back onto the game Black ops 2 and started playing some Teamdeath Match, this is the easiest of all game modes that's online so he thought  he would give it a couple of games and his anger was, overwhelming and he suddenly was playing a lot better than he normally does but he couldn't understand why!

Going through the first game he ended up with a total kill to deaths ratio of 27-5 one of his best games yet, then he went into the next game and bettered it! doing 35-4 he couldn't understand how all of a sudden he went from being alright player to actually someone decent! He asked himself why this was happening a phew times and then realised what happened before he started playing and didn't want to believe what he was thinking. "Could it be true" he muttered to himself and the felt rather stupid that he was speaking to himself still dumbstruck about what he thinks may be happening to him.

"Magnumchomper wants you to join a party" appeared on the top right of his screen. With out hesitation immediately clicked the "Join party button" and through his headset he heard the ring it makes when you have joined the party and in desperation James said : "Hey!" trying not to sound like anything has happened.

Smyra replied saying : "Hey!" but was speaking a little under her breathe which reminded James of what happened earlier.

Demanding it with out even realising he said : "Come on this game" it wasn't even a question! Why was he that stupid. Listening to the noise where she invites you to game again come through the headset. James joined straight away and they went onto Teamdeath Match, his favourite game mode at the time as played before. He started to remember what happened almost half an hour earlier and the anger came back to him but the party did fall silent and stayed that way for all to long, James was winning for his team and beating the other team by a considerable amount like he did earlier, so he kept checking his leader board to see how he was doing and then he looked at what Smyra was doing and she wasn't doing very well and trying to start conversation he blurted out : "So yesterday was a fluke then"

To his surprise she replies : "No I'm not playing well today" saying this with a little bit of contempt.

Not knowing what to reply he just replied with a disappointed : "Sure what ever"

The party fell silent again and Smyra was first to speak by James's surprise and she said "Do you have Twitter!" why she asked he wasn't sure but he then realised that he did in fact have Twitter

"Yeah I do, what's your name?" he replied with some excitement because he realises that its conversation.

She gave her details to James and he follows her on Twitter and Smyra followed back and he wondered why she asked if he had Twitter! Why was he always asking why stop it he said to himself but then he remembered what he said to himself earlier, was it true? Or was he thinking it?
