This is my second book and I hope you will enjoy this crazy story. Things will get tough for Annie, but she can handle it.

Anyways, Total Geek is probably my best book so far. Fear No Question hasn't been a complete hit, but hopefully this book will.

I can't believe this is happening! This can not be true. My life is ruined, absolutely ruined.

It all started this morning when I went for a walk with my dog, Bean. I saw a little boy sitting in the park all alone. On instinct I had to go help him. I walked over there and realized he was bleeding. I ran over to him and bent down to get a closer look. He must have fallen and skinned his knee. I was relieved to see that was all that was bleeding.

I helped the little boy to his feet. "Hi, do you know where your parents are?" I tried my hardest not to scream to find who this poor kid belonged to. I held in my rage and put a smile on my face. "Do you see them here? Your mom or dad?" he just stared at me like a hopeless monkey not able to peel a banana.

"I don't see mommy. I don't see daddy.... I see sissy!" his eyes gleamed with joy as his sister ran over to him. She was crying, probably because she just lost her little brother. "Sissy! This girl helped me find you. She gave me a band aid, too!" She hugged him and gave him a big kiss.

"Thank you so much for helping Vinny. I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find him. After he ran off to the playground I set up our picnic. Then I looked back and he was gone. And again, thank you." She smiled and took Vinny's hand and led him to the picnic. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of siblings together.

Bean and I walked home and got a snack. I had an apple and Bean had a Scooby snack. He loves those. After we had our snack, we went and laid down on the couch. We were watching tv when I drifted off to sleep. It was peaceful and quiet, like always. I don't have a brother or a sister, just my mom, dad, and Bean. But, I like it that way, quiet and peaceful.

When I woke up it was three thirty in the morning. My parents don't get home until about four, so I thought I would go make some coffee. I put the water in and started it. By the time it finished it was about three fourty-five.

My mom got home at three fifty-two. She came into the kitchen looking so tired and messed up. "What happened to you? Did you get hit by a bus?" she gave a little laugh then went in the living room and laid down.

"What are you doing up? And can you please get me a cup of coffee? Lots of cream and sugar." I made her the coffee and brought it to her. I sat down beside her and Bean jumped up and laid beside me.

"Bean and I fell asleep and I woke up at three thirty. So I thought I would make some coffee for you and dad. I didn't want to go back to sleep though. I had a very strange dream. It confused me, but made sense somehow." I wasn't lying about the dream. It was about me and Bean, we were in the park. In the same spot we found the little boy.

"Well, tell mama about the dream. It's not like I'm going anywhere." She smiled and could tell I wasn't in a good mood since I talked about my dream. She gave me a hug and I looked up at her when she was done. "Go on, tell me."

"Bean and I were in the park and..." wait I haven't told her about the incident in the park. "Okay, before I tell you about my dream, I have to tell you what happened at the park today. Bean and I were walking in the park and I saw this little boy all alone. I walked over to him and saw he was bleeding." She gasped and looked like she was going to cry. I guess stress from work and the story about a little boy bleeding makes you want to cry. "Anyways, he only skinned his knee. I went over to him and asked where his parents were. He said he didn't see them, but he saw his sister. She ran over to him and told me how she lost him. I gave the boy a band aid and then they left." She looked relieved and smiled. I could tell she was thinking that I was a hero or something.

"That was nice sweetie. Now, tell me about your dream." She got up to get more coffee, so I followed her. She put the coffee in her cup and put tons of cream and sugar in it. She mixed it up and turned to me. She smiled and started to tap her fingers. I could tell she was waiting for me to tell my dream.

"Okay, Bean and I were in the park, in the same spot where we found the little boy. There was a man behind me, I could tell it was a teenager, so I turned around and tried to punch him. He stopped my hand and smiled at me." I started to tear up because the next part is hard to say. "Ryan was the man behind me. His smile gave it away. He hugged me and Bean. I hugged him so hard it was hard for him to breath." I thought of my brother, before the accident. Before everything went bad. I started to cry. I cried until my glasses got really wet from my tears.

My mother took my head and turned it so I could look at her. She smiled and wiped the tears from my face, then took my glasses off and wipe them on her shirt. She then wiped a tear from her face. She drank the last sip of her coffee and went off to bed. My dad got home when she was walking up the stairs. He didn't say hi or anything. He just followed my mom up the stairs.

I yawned and walked upstairs to my room. I put on my pajamas and laid down in my bed. I got all snuggled up and so did Bean. He must have followed me in my room. We fell asleep and I didn't wake up until the next morning, the day that ruined my life.

I hope you like the first chapter to read more! The next chapter is full of juicy details on Annie's love life.
