My alarm went off at 5:30 and I was already dreading my day. After what happened yesterday, I just wanted to hide in my room and cry. But I knew it wouldn't help my case.
I got up and put on the nicest thing I had. Since I knew I would be a big hit in school. I ate breakfast and waited for Jessica to pick me up.
She pulled up and honked her horn. I grabbed my back pack and ran outside. I opened the door and put on my seatbelt.
"Um, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday," Jessica said looking at me with a sad face. "I feel awful about that video. I feel embarrassed too. I mean did you see me jump on Jake? I looked like a total geek." She is a geek actually. We are only friends because she is the only other girl geek. I'm at least glad I'm not the only one.
"It's okay Jessica. I feel like a total geek too. I guess I already am a geek, so everyone knows what I am. Well what they think I am." Jessica looked at me stunned at what I just said.
"What do you mean? What don't people know about you? What do I not know about you! I thought we were best friends! You're a liar! I can't believe I fell for your little trick! Get out! Get out of my car!" She stopped the car and the brakes screeched.
"I didn't mean it like that! I meant that I'm not just a geek. I'm more than that. I can't believe you! I guess we aren't friends anymore!" I opened the door and slammed it shut. I was furious. I can't believe she thought I wasn't a geek. I do have somewhat of a life.
I was walking to school - which was only a few minutes away - and I looked at my phone to see what time it was.
7:13 a.m.
Oh crap! I better hurry or I'm going to be late. School starts at 7:25 and it takes me forever to get to my classes.
It really did take forever since I was always being pushed and pulled. Girls would play with my natural straight, blond hair. Guys would be all over me saying things like, "looking good babe!" They were just trying to torment me.
I ran to class and made it just before the bell rang. God I hope no one saw me run. If they did I would be a laughing stock.
What am I saying? I will already be the center of attention.
