For You and Only You

Chapter 2

I walked up stair toward the common room when I was scared out of my mind by the twins.

"dinner finished already" they said in unison.

" Geez guys do you have to do that every time" I asked trying to slow my breathing

"It's fun and besides you're the first one up here all the time so you the perfect target" George said

" Guys how about just this once can you leave me alone" I asked

"Yeah sure is everything alright" Fred asked concerned

"Yeah everything is fine I just don't want to be bothered to night ok guys" I told them as we got to the door to the common room. I walked in and went straight to my room. "Why was he staring at me again" I thought to myself. If I kept this up everyone would be asking me what was wrong. So, I decided to ignore it and finish my homework even though it wasn't due for another two days because we had Quidditch try outs. When I was done, I put my books away and took out my journal. In it I wrote

Today was my first day of classes and I forgot how long they were. When the day was over and I was at dinner once again I noticed, Malfoy staring at me. I am still wondering why he would be staring am I am a bit nervous. Not only was my day exhausting but Quidditch tryouts are tomorrow.

I put my journal in my closet then went back and laid down on my bed just staring at the ceiling. I just stared thinking about different things but the one thing that kept sneaking its way into my thoughts was why would Draco be staring at me and when I would look over at him he would turn away. I soon fell asleep with these all these thoughts running through my head.

The next morning I woke up to the twins shaking me awake.

"Scar, Scar wake up we don't have much time" Fred said as I slowly opened my eyes.

"Fred you guys know you can't be in here"

"Yeah but we had to wake you, everyone will be heading to breakfast soon and when they are all gone meet us at the field and we can set up the prank" George said with excitement

"Alright now go before you guys are seen." I said and as soon as I did there came a knock at my door. I quickly shoved the twin in my closet "touch any and you will regret it understand"

"Yeah" they said in unison.

Another knock came from the door. I shut the door to the closet and went over to open my main door. Hermione was standing on the other side " hey Hermione"

"Hey is everything alright I thought I heard the twins in here" she said

"Nope just me, are you going to breakfast"

"Yeah are you coming" she answered

"I will I just have to get dressed"

"Ok I will see you down in the great hall" she said leaving

As soon as she was gone I shut the door and went to get the twins out of my closet. I open the door and they came me tumbling out. "Are you guys ok" I asked as they stood up

"Yeah we just have one question" George said

"What is this" Fred asked holding up my journal

"Fred give me that" I yelped

"Oh so it's important " George said taking the book from Fred

"Guys come on didn't you say you didn't have much time" I said trying to get my book back

"Yeah that's right" George said handing me my book " hurry up and meet us in the common room in five minutes."

"Ok" I said and they left. as soon as they were gone I hid my journal and quickly got dressed then head down stairs. We left the common room shortly after. We head to the quidditch field where the boy stet up their prank. I was the look out. They said they didn't want me getting in trouble for being involved if they were to get caught. When they were finished, we rushed back in side. Just in time to go to our first class. All of my classes were long and boring but then I reached my last class, potions with Professor Snape. I hated him and he hated me there was no questioning that. I did my potion exactly how I was supposed to and still manage to get it wrong. All during the class I kept looking up to see Draco staring at me. Finally, when class was over I grabbed my books and headed for the Gryffindor common room. As I walked down the hall my path was suddenly blocked by Crabbe and Goyal. I turned around to try and go a different way and Malfoy blocked my path. I was not really in the mood to deal with him and plus I had to hurry and get to quidditch tryouts. I turn back around shoved my way through Crabbe and Goyal and just as I did I heard them snicker to each other and then.

"Shut up you idiots" i heard Draco say

I raced down the hall and made my way to Gryffindor common. Then I raced up to my dorm got changed and head for the field. I got there just in time. Everything was going perfectly fine until the twins' prank went off. All the first years broom started going everywhere. after all the first years were off their malfunctioning brooms tryouts where over and we would find out who would be on the team tomorrow. I went to my dorm did my homework and went to bed I was too tired to right in my journal so I just left it hidden.

The next morning I woke up and went down stairs and everyone was crowding around a paper that was posted on the wall.

"Scar congrats you made the Quidditch team." Hermione said coming away from the paper on the wall

Great I said "something else to worry about"

"What do you mean"

"Well it's just I have to make sure I keep up with school that's all."

"Ok well according to the paper your first practice is today so good luck"

Thanks" I said and I went back up to my dorm and got my books then I went to my classes. It was a normal day nothing really out of ordinary. Only Draco hadn't stared at me once and was kind of nice not having the feeling of someone staring you down.

That afternoon after classes were over and we were practicing for the upcoming quidditch match when the Slytherin team showed up.

"What do you want Malfoy" Harry snapped.

"We just came to see how the team that is going to lose is doing because you really need more practice" Malfoy snickered

"You know what Malfoy I bet your team is worse than you think you haven't practiced at all" I snapped stepping in every one started to circle around us waiting for what was coming next.

"We don't need practice we will do fine" Malfoy said glaring at me

"Fine you may think you don't need practice but some of us want to become even better than we already are, so you don't need to be distracting now go away" I snapped. Malfoy just glared at me he knew I had won but he didn't know how to answer. A few seconds later his team flew away and very one on Gryffindor team started cheering. We finished our practice and cleaned up. I was the last done so I walked back to my dorm alone. The halls were so quiet and peaceful everyone was at dinner but I wasn't hungry so I headed for the dorms. While walking down the hall I was cut off by Crabbe and Goyal.

"Not so fast" Crabbe said

I tried to go the other way but Malfoy had appeared behind me.

"Going somewhere" he said with a smug look on his face

All of a sudden I was being Pinned against the wall by Crabbe and Goyal while Malfoy took out his wand and said a spell that I didn't recognize. At once my hands started to burn along with my stomach. I screamed in pain, Crabbe and Goyal let go of my arms and I fell to the floor. They took off down the hall laughing. I sat there in shock. I looked at my hands they were red and blistered like someone had set fire to them. I knew if I cried then Malfoy would have finally broke me. I wasn't going to let that happened. I picked up my books with my burning hand and walked to the hospital wing. I got my hands and stomach rapped and then walked to the common room by that time every one had returned from dinner. I walked in and everyone went quiet and stared at me. Hermione was the first to talk

Scar your all right, Malfoy and his goons came into the great hall laughing and none of us had seen you since you had quidditch practice, so we got worried" she said coming over to me " what happened to your hands?"

Just a few blisters from clenching the broom too tight" I answered lying of course. I headed toward my dorm and put my pajamas on. My stomach burned still, Draco had go too far that time. We were going to crush Slytherin in the quidditch match. and with that I went to bed.
