Chaper 3

The next morning, I woke up and got dressed in my quidditch uniform and headed down to breakfast. When I got down to the hall and sat down, Hermione looked up and her eyes went wide.

"Scar what happened to your hand she said loudly.

I looked down I forgot to rewrapped my hands so the marks from Draco's spell were visible to everyone. " a spell back fired on me thats all" I lied again. She just glared at me knowing that I wasn't telling her the truth, I quickly ate my breakfast and headed to the team locker room. The twins were fooling around and every one else was getting ready. I raped my hands in bandages so no one else would see what Draco had done. We walked out to the opening where we flew out of and mounted our brooms. When they announced, us we flew out to the cheers of our house. Slytherin was the same. When we were in position we the game begun. We scored three times before Slytherin got on the board and the game continued. We were about half way through and Harry still hadn't found the snitch. I was waiting for a pass when something hard hit me in my stomach knocking me off my broom sending me free falling to the ground. I felt someone grab my uniform and bring me to the ground slowly before I blacked out. I woke up in the hospital section of the castle with the nurse standing over me. I slowly sat up with her help and saw Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the twins standing at the end of the bed. "How long was i out for?" I asked

"Only a few hours" Fred replied

"Who won the game" I asked

"We did, but how much do you remember" Hermione asked

"Not much, I do remember I was hit off my broom." I answered. They all turned to each other and started whispering about to each other, so I couldn't hear.

"Ok well we should be getting back to the common room to tell everyone your ok" Hermione said as they all raced out of the hospital room.

I laid back down because my stomach still hurt. And a few minutes later someone open the larger door and came in I kept my eyes closed so that they would think I was asleep and maybe mention something about what my friends were hiding.

"Madam Palfrey how is she" the person asked

I recognized the voice but it didn't have the same tone I was used to. "why would Malfoy be asking about me." I thought to my self 

"She is fine, she would be worse if you hadn't caught her. Would you like me to tell her you stopped by?" Madam Palfrey said

"No nobody can know I was here, I am already dealing with the issues of catching her nobody needs to know about me checking in on her either" Malfoy said in an aggravated tone

"Then may I asked why you caught her in the first place" 

"To be honest I don't know, I have hated her for years and then there was this sudden urge to help her."

The room went silent, then I heard footsteps walking toward the door. I heard the creaking of the loud doors open then the latch of them closing again. I laid there with my eyes still closed wondering why would Draco save me. I soon fell asleep and didn't wake up till the next morning.

When I woke up Madam Palfrey released me and said I can return to classes tomorrow. Being Sunday morning no body was awake. I walked down the halls quietly and as I did I heard voices  in the passage ways  I slowed my walk and reached the corner near the voices.

"She doesn't know yet and that is a good thing Severus. What do you think would happen if she knew." I heard professor McGonagall say.

"Who could they be talking about" I wondered to myself

"A lot, now let's keep her from knowing unless absolutely necessary" Professor Snape said

They walked in the opposite direction of where I was standing. I quickly walked to the Gryffindor common room, I said the password and entered. And to my surprised all my friends were asleep in the common room. Fred and George had fallen asleep on the couch leaning on each other. Ron had fallen asleep in a chair near the couch and Hermione had fallen asleep on Harry's shoulder who had fallen asleep sitting on the floor in front of the other chair leaning against it. They all looked so peaceful so instead of waking them up I hurried up to my room and got changed into some better clothes. By the time, I was done and got back down to the common room all my friends were just starting to wake up.
