Will and Layla: My new best friends

Layla was in her room thinking about everything that had happened since she started the high school called Sky High. She remembered how her and her friends had fought against Will's parents archenemies. She then remembered how the school shut down for a few weeks so that repairs could be done to the school after the battle. A few days later after the school closed Will, her best friend finally realized that he liked her the same way that she liked him. The same happened between Zach and Magenta. The second year of the school year was coming and Layla was very excited. After the battle the principal moved her to the hero class after what she did to Penny. After that everyone has been afraid to get on her bad side. Will of course stayed with her because they were a couple now but he too was slightly afraid of Layla. "Layla honey can you come downstairs please." Layla's mom asked. Ever since the mom learned that Layla has been moved to the hero class, she has been asking Layla to do superhero things. Such as gardening, weeding, and other plant related things. "Coming!" Layla shouted. She jumped out of bed and bounded down the steps. "Can you...?" My mom started saying but I was already out the door and gathering our food.

SCHOOL YEAR...

The school year has started and Layla, Will, Zach and Magenta have been running around preparing for what they will need for the school year. They were now waiting at the bus stop. Zach and Magenta were flirting with each other and Will was floating in the air reading a book. I yanked his leg. He looked down at me startled and I shook my head at him. He looked down and saw that he was not touching the ground. He landed on the ground with a silent sorry. I looked over his shoulder and saw that the bus was coming."Okay guys. What's the plan?" I ask looking around at my friends. They look at me and shrug their shoulders. "Nice." I say. The bus stops in front of us. I step up to the curb and wait for the doors to open. "Be careful." Will whispers in my ear. I look back at him looking confused. Let me explain. During the battle our bus driver Ron, fell into a boiling of toxic waste and got powers. Yeah I know right. Okay so anyways. No one knows what his powers are and ever since that day everyone has been acting weird around him. I feel bad for him but we could learn his powers the hard way or just learn it when it happens naturally. The doors on the bus opened and Layla came face to face with Ron. He looked at her and smiled. "How was your summer Layla?" He asked as I walked past him to get into a seat. "Good. How about yours?" I answered. I looked around the bus and saw that there was a girl sitting by herself. I walked over to her and asked if I could sit with her. She looked up at me and nodded her head. I sat down right as Ron was finishing his summer story."... and that was it for my summer." He said looking into the mirror at me. I smiled. I looked around the bus and saw that Will was sitting next to Werren, a guy who has a fire power. Behind him sat Ethan who had the ability to fly and make it rain and behind him two new kids. "I'm Layla." I say looking back at the girl in my seat. She looked at me startled at shook my hand. "Patty." She said. I smiled. "Who are your parents?" I asked her."Barry and Kara Allen." She whispered looking away. I looked at her shocked. "Really. You have two parents that have powers. That is so cool. My boyfriend also has to superhero parents." I say nodding at Will. She smiled and looked at the two kids behind Ethan. "Those are my cousins. Nathan and Gemma, son and daughter of Cisco and Caitlin Snow." She said. "Nathan has the ability to control water and Gemma well she is more complicated. She can turn into mist and travel through any hard surface." I gasped and looked at Gemma. She did look different and more misty. "My parents have no powers and I have the ability to control plants and make plants grow. What's yours?" I asked her. She winced at looked out the window."I have the ability to control dreams and spit acid that will make things melt." As soon as she finished saying that the bus was in the air and the conversation between us came to a stop.
