**Melania's POV**

I couldn't.

I was starting to develop these feelings for Justin.

That day Justin saved me was the day I realized I couldn't stay away. 

My own selfishness will get him hurt but, maybe, just maybe, I could protect him from these people trying to kill me, maybe they'd leave him alone.

Cody and I have gotten really close and we're really good friends. I think that if I didn't have feelings for Justin I would be with Cody right now. But he would get hurt too.

My life is so complicated. I just want a normal life.

Anyway, Taylor found a bunch of shit on this guy that killed Amanda and we're supposed to go there today to kill him but I have a bad feeling about it.

It was Saturday morning and Cody wanted to hang out today which I was cool with but I was so scared of everyone I knew getting hurt. 

I was so scared that I'd hurt them. 

I couldn't tell anyone, I couldn't talk to anyone.

What happened to that tough girl that let nobody hurt her or follow her around or befriend her. What happened to that girl?

That girl never let anyone break her wall. 

Now Justin shows up and takes it down with one punch.

No, he doesn't know anything but, I'm not supposed to fall in love. It's against my nature. It shouldn't happen.

I felt a vibration in my pocket, assuming it was Cody, I pressed the green accept button.

"Hey Cody, whats up?"

"Hey.. Whats going on are we chillin' or no?" 

"Yeah we can. What were you thinking of doing?"

"Mmm..." Cody paused before continuing. 

"Maybe we could go Go Karting?" He suggested.

"Oh hell yes, don't gotta ask me twice."

We planned when we were going to go and if we should get food after.

Then we exchanged goodbyes and hung up the phone and as soon as I put my phone down, of course Taylor texted me what was happening tonight and when. 

Apparently this asshole who killed Amanda was hiding out in this warehouse barn type thing about half hour away from our warehouse. I was not ready to deal with this asshole tonight. I also really really didn't have a good feeling about this.

I also think that Mccann was going to help us out again tonight. Apparently him and Taylor have gotten really close and they've been having "guy-time" as Taylor would call it.

So, unfortunately, I have a feeling our gangs will be joining together. Because with Mccann on our side, we'd be unstoppable and that's exactly where Taylor wants to be and same with Mccann. They're both power hungry.

But in the mean time, I was going to have a good ass time with Cody and that would be that. Not letting anything get in my way of having a good time today.

*Ding*

Except that... Justin.

I answered the phone.

"Hey, J.. watcha doin'?"

"'J', thats a new one. What're you up too?"

"Oh ya know.. just going to spend some time hanging with Cody today."
