Wow, I'm really bad at this, aren't I? Sorry about that. I promise that I do get guilty whenever I check Wattpad to find someones voted for my story that I haven't updated in like twenty years. Oh well. But ya gotta trust me! Unless I specifically state it, I'm not giving up on this story. No matter how long it takes me to upload! Now, without further ado, the Wild Kratts!

Chris almost felt bad, the way Martin was getting yelled at by Aviva for letting T-Bone damage the Miniaturizer; except that Martin had comepletely ditched him and left along with the rest of the crew, so Chris wasn't exactly inclined to care. Still, he's my older brother, I can't just leave him out to dry like this... Plus Aviva technically ditched me too.

The younger brother still didn't like how his mind seemed to be working against him today. "Aviva I think Martin has had enough." He said, stepping in between the two. Aviva's eyes snapped over to Chris's. He actually flinched away for a second. Man, she's mad! Martin, why do you do these things?!

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'MARTIN HAS HAD ENOUGH'!? HE NEARLY DESTROYED MY MINIATURIZER!" Aviva seethed. Chris could almost hear the fire in her voice and see the smoke coming from her ears.

"It was actually T-Bone who almost destroyed your Miniaturizer, not Martin." Chris said, slowly raising his hands in a gesture of surrender. He could hear more footsteps and he knew what that meant. If he could stall until Koki and Jimmy arrived, Koki could properly calm Aviva down. Aviva turned her fiery glare up a notch, which Chris hadn't thought possible.

"Well then, since he's a T-Devil, I guess it's all okay for him to destroy all my inventions." Aviva retorted, obviously sarcastic. Chris knew what she was referring to and took a large step back, retreating to Martin's side. The elder brother flashed him a guilty smile, Chris didn't return it, focused on keeping Aviva from exploding. The Kratt brothers sighed in relief as Koki emerged from the trees, along with a very nervous Jimmy. Aviva rounded on her, but then stopped short and relaxed when she saw who it was. She flashed Koki a frustrated grimace, to which Koki shrugged her shoulders and gave a sympathetic smile as if to say: It's just the Kratts being Kratts, don't be to hard on them. Aviva's grimace lightened into a sort of small knowing smile and she took a deep breath.

"Just get back to the Tortuga, we've gotten a Wild Kratts Alarm from Africa, I'll fix the Miniaturizer on the way there."

Chris was about to protest, after all they had only just gotten to Tasmania, but he knew there'd be other chances. Besides, a W.K. Alarm was not something to be taken lightly. It seemed he'd have to wait for a proper explanation as to why the crew had ditched him, but he was patient. He simply nodded and started the trek back to the Tortuga, his brother and the rest of the crew followed behind him.

T-Bone watched the team go, scratching the dirt with his claws. He didn't understand why the friendly humans were leaving so soon, the fun had only begun. Before T-Bone had time to feel sorry for himself, the scent of a dying animal caught his attention and his instincts took control. As he raced off in the direction of the smell only one last thought lingered on his mind. If they can't stay here, I'll go with them

               -----------------------------------------------------

Chris and Martin had quickly turned on the Tortuga's main computer system so they could get a good look at the report.

"Hyenas are going missing all over this area, but the ones with trackers are indicating that they are all congregating in that one spot." Martin read out loud circling areas on a map of Africa that Jimmy had laid out for them. Chris glanced at the map and shook his head.

"But that doesn't make sense, these hyenas are all from different clans, they wouldn't naturally come together like this."

Martin nodded, looking over at his brother. "Exactly. Which means I think we have a villain problem on our hands."

Chris blinked, "But then which one would ever possibly want hyenas?" He asked, a bit skeptical. Martin paused.

          "Uhhh, Paisley?"

"No. She hates animals. And it would be pointless to build a parking lot on reserved land."

          "Zach?"

"...Nah. He'd be to afraid of them, even with the zachbots doing all the work."

          "Donita?"

"Come on, Martin! What plan would that evil fashion designer have for a hyena."

           "I don't know! I'm just brainstorming here!"

Both of the brothers paused in thought. Slowly, they turned to one another as the realization dawned on them. Chris looked back down at the map, and then back at his older brother.

           "Gourmand."

Well, would ya look at that, a villain finally emerged. Also, T-Bone has a plan! A T-Devil with a mission and a villain with a scheme, what could possibly go wrong? You'll have to find out in the next chapter if I can actually pull myself together long enough to write one. Whatever. I must stay determined! Have a great life and, as always, see ya on the creature trail!

          Keep on creature adventuring~
