tonight is going to be amazing! first time as an anderson on the red carpet. dreams do come true.

5:20pm

carl's pov

i adjusted my pastel pink bow tie on my suit as ron made sure his hair was in place.

he came up and hugged me from behind, nuzzling his head inbetween my shoulder and neck.

"i love you so much" he said.

i turned around and planted a kiss on his lips.

"i love you more" i responded.

ron blushed, then told me our limo was outside.

i reached for his hand and intertwined our fingers, then looking down at the beautiful rings we both had on our fingers.

i was so in love with this boy and i have been my whole life.

"limo for mr ron and carl anderson" the driver told us.

i smiled so hard at the name.

the ride was filled with us laughing, kissing, and him constantly telling me that i have nothing to worry about.

the driver also played our wedding song, "cant help falling in love," sung by twenty øne piløts. they still remain my favorite band to this day.

also, did i forget to mention that we were on our way to the grammys?

paper towns was up for favorite movie of twenty years ago. i was hoping my love would win!!

as soon as we got there, we were bombardered with cameras.

paparazzi everywhere.

"how's the marriage?!"

"how does it feel marrying your celebrity crush?"

"ron will you win tonight?!"

thousands of flashes and questions were thrown at us, ron just tightly gripped my hand and pulled me through the paparazzi.

we then got to the carpet and many people were taking pictures of us.

"kiss please!"

"one true pair! kiss for us!"

they were chanting for us to kiss.

ron turned to me, he was the expert on the camera people.

he leaned in and we shared a nice kiss for the cameras. they echoed with excitement.

...

we were now at the end of the show, ron's nominee was called.

an actor named ansel elgort and singer melanie martinez were up to annouce the winner and melanie had the envelope with the winner in hand.

"you're going to get this baby, you can do it. no matter what happens, i'll always love you" i assured him, he was shaking.

"and the winner is.... ron anderson for paper towns!!!" they shouted.

i started crying and got up to kiss ron on his way up.

he walked on the stage. i admired my beautiful husband, who i still idolize to this day. he's amazing. i knew he could do it.

the first thing ron stated when he was handed the grammy was, "wow, i'm shook," which caused the whole crowd to laugh.

"i've always dreamed for a moment like this to come" he said. "thank you to all the voters who got me here today. but, i'd like to thank someone most of all, my stunning husband, carl grimes. he has always been here for me and inspires me everyday of living. i love you so much" he added.

i was now crying my eyes out; so proud and moved from his speech.

he walked down again and he ran into my arms.

"i knew you could do it baby" i told him.

the show was now ending and ron and i took a seat.

"thank you for always being by my side. you really have always been there, even when you were a fanboy." ron smiled.

and thats the end of our beautiful love story. never give up on marrying your idol, i mean, look at me, i married mine.
