Pheona's P.O.V.
I shook my head. A bright light flashed in my face. "Ugh" "wakey wakey" I opened my eyes fully. A blue haired cop was standing in front of me. "Hello" "who are you?" "That's the question a lot of people are asking about you" I looked more around the room when all the memories came crashing in. "What did you do with them!?" I tried to move but I was held down by cuffs. "What the fuck are these?" "There handcuffs" the door swung open and a lady walked in. She had short pink hair and a blue suite. She walked in and sat down, "Hello, I'm Zamy" "What poor mother h-" the cop nudged my arm. "Don't touch me" I jerked away. "I know your confused and scared-" "I'm one of those" "look. We're you taken by those people? Why'd they ubduct you?" "They didn't ubduct me you hoar!" She gave me a stern look. "What's your name?" "Why should I tell you anything?" I sneered. "You can tell me or I can let my forensics team find out, either way were gonna know" she smiled at me. Not a sincere smile, an evil smile. "I'll make you work for it" she scoffed and left the room. I sat there, slightly moving my eyes to look behind me. I knew the blue haired guy was still there. I didn't turn around, "why are you here?" "Huh?" I heard shuffle around. "I'm here to watch you" I held my hands up as far as I could with the handcuffs on them. "What am I gonna do?" "I don't know" he walked in front of me. He sat on the chair across from me slouchily and put his feet up. "So, what is your name?" "Non of your business" "nice to meet you, I'm Zonic" "I didn't need to know that" "so, N.Y.B-" "What the hell is that?" "Non of your business abbreviated" "my name's not 'Non of your business', okay" "then what is it?" I looked at him. I was already devising a plan to escape and find my parents. "Fine, I'll just keep calling you N.Y.B" the lady opened the door and called him out. He walked out of the room, I watched him walk away with a menacing stare. The door closed and I began analyzing the room. I jiggled the handcuffs, no luck. I put my head down and flung my hair around until a little metal holder came out. A bobbie pin. I grabbed it with my bound hands and began squirming. I jiggled it around in the keyhole of the handcuffs. I haven't ever picked a lock before but that wasn't gonna stop me. I heard a click, then the door opened. I slipped the bobbie pin in my pocket and held the handcuffs on. "Well... um, mind telling me your name now?" I smirked. "What? Didn't find me in your data base?" "No.. actually, we didn't" "oh... I guess that makes sense.." I mumbled the last part to myself. "What?" "I am the daughter of fugitives" he looked at me dumbfounded. He slightly looked at the 'glass' then back at me. I was smart enough to know that it was a one sided window. "What- what do you mean?" "I mean what I said" I looked at him sternly then at the security camera. "Well, um, I think I over stayed how long I wanted to" I let the handcuffs drop and held up my hands and smiled. I ran to the left wall and knocked off the vent cover with one, hard, swift kick. I dove in and began went crawling through. "Shes getting away!" "What do you want me to do? Crawl after her?!" "I don't pay you to stand around" I crawled like my life depended on it. Quite frankly, it did. I made my way through turns and drops, opened the next vent I came to and dropped out. I landed on my one knee, hand on the floor. (Superman style!) I shot up, "get her!" I heard a shout and ran for my life. I ran out the door and just bolted. I didn't know where I was going, I just ran. I made a sharp turn and ended up in an alley. Dead end. I stopped, thinking I got away, and sat down behind a dumpster. I heard something, "Hey, I know your down here" I panicked. My heart began beating wildly and I breathed heavily. I looked around for a way out of this situation. I bolted for the fence and started to climb it. "Woah, not so fast!" He grabbed my waist. "Let me go!" I struggled in his grip, holding on to the fence. "Just calm down, were here to help you" "I need to see my parents!" I tried to pull away but he pulled me down. I fell down and he fell backwards. I fell on top of him, tears pouring down from my face. He sat up, which made me in his lap, he put his hand on my wrist. "Don't go running away" "I need them..." I jerked my hand away. I stood up, put my foot in his hand to stop him from getting up. "Don't touch me, you can't stop me! I'm getting to them one way or another!" "Maybe if you told me who your parents are I could help you" "the two people you dragged away!" His eyes widened. "No... it can't be true.." "what?" I snapped at him. "Your their daughter? The famous refugees Maria Robotnik and Shadow the hedgehog!? Your the daughter of refugees?" He slipped his hand from under my foot. He stood up with his hand on his walkie-talkie. "I can't believe it" I ran toward the gate again and successfully hopped it. I ran like the wind, as fast as I could, to get away. Once I thought I was far enough I stopped to get a breather. I had hopped another fence and leaned up against the fence on the side with grass. Yep, that's me. Daughter of refugees. Then I felt a sudden pain in the back, more towards the side, of my head and my vision faded. Black.
