10k left the table on the search for a way to the roof. He finally found a stair case to the roof. He climbed and climbed before running into a girl. "Oh sorry.." 10k apologies quick. He looks at the person he ran into to see its Aurora. She smiles happily at him. "You actually came." She sighs a relief. "I thought you weren't coming. I was waiting, but I guess im a bit impatient. Follow me." She says motioning home to follow her up stairs.

10k follows close behind her. When they get to the roof Aurora turns to 10k. She extended her hand out to him. "I'm Aurora." She introduced herself. 10k grinned and took her hand to shake it. "Im Ten thousand, but you can call me 10k." he introduced back. Aurora cocked her head to the side at 10k. "Ten Thousand? Why that?" She asked as she smiled brightly at him. He shrugged shyly at her, "that's how many zombies I will kill." He answers. They both stare at each other before back to their hands that were still locked.

Aurora chuckled before quickly taking 10ks knife out of his holder and disarming him of his gun. She pushed him up against the wall holding the silver blade to his throat. Everything happened so quickly 10k looked down at her surprised. He was only a head taller then her. "Why are you here...you should have kept driving." She said seriously in his face. She looked up at him her eyes and bit hard, and stood closely. "W..we saw this camp a-and we needed somewhere to rest." He said stuttering with his words. She starred up to him for a few moments before her eyes went soft. "Why?" 10k asked. Aurora took a step back and stood her ground. Almost like shes ready to fight any moment.

She took a breath before speaking. "Look I'm just gonna get to the point. Y'all have to leave. This place its not safe." She says quickly. 10k furrowed his eyebrows at her. "What do you mean how is it not safe?" he asked her as his eyes grew wide.

Aurora became fragile and rubbed her left arm. She bowed her head and sighed. She began to speak but hesitated. 10k nodded to her letting her know he was gonna listen. "They have this thing called elimination week. Once a week they make one person fight a group of zombies, and then make two people fight to their deaths. Um..now that all of you are here, they will make y'all fight against the Duke brothers." She explained not looking him in the eyes.

10k took a  step forward. "Who are the Duke brothers?" he asked lowering his head to meet her gaze. She slowly looked up at him. "They are ex military," she paused and looked around the roof  " you can see them from here." she points to one side of the roof and walks over to the edge. 10k hesitantly follows her over to the edge. He looked at her while he made his way next to her.

"Over there." she points to the edge line of the woods. Two men were laughing while drinking beer and watching women walk by. "They are ruthless, rough," she paused as she looked down at her hand "and show no mercy."

10k followed her gaze to her hand to see a large scar. Aurora looked back at 10k. "Y'all have to leave..." she whispers while setting a hand on his shoulder. He looked at her hand before her. "If it's so bad here, why do you stay?" He asked. She sucked in a sharp breath and handed back his knife. "I have no where to go. This is the first place where I'm surrounded by people," she paused as she looked down at the people walking "I dont wanna be alone again."

10k grinned at her as he took his knife. "Trust me, if you tell Warren this, I'm sure she will bring you along." He said with a little chuckle. She looked over at him with a small grin. "Okay.." she says ever so softly. He nodds and hurries to grab his gun. "Do you think Warren will believe me?" She asked 10k as they headed down the steps. 10k shrugged, "yeah, we have seen crazy things, so lying about that is pretty crazy." He said.
