Chapter 21: This Day Couldn't Be Any Better...

Louis' POV

Today Gi is going home! YAYY!

We are getting ready to leave now, she is a little weak, but otherwise fine. We got a whole month off from tour, so I am excited to be able to spend more time with Gi and my family.

At home

Gi opened the door to her room, shocked to see a dozen roses. she hobbled into her room and stared at the roses.

"When the last one dies, so does my love for you."

She looked upset when I said that. but when she realized that one was fake, she started to go into a fit of laughter.

"DONNTTTT U EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN" She laughed

Then it went onto a full on tickle fight.

Then a leaned down and kissed her, completely surprising her.

"You know I love you right?" I asked her

"Yea why?" Gi asked

"Just making sure..." I said as she laid in my arms, slowly drifting to sleep.

"I love you babe," I whispered as she closed her eyes, drifting to dream land...


A few days later...

Today, July 1- is Gi and I's 6 month anniversary. after everything that we have been through over these passed few months.

I plan on taking Gi somewhere special. I know that she doesn't really like to go to the usual typical date at a fancy restaurant she is more of the girl who likes to actually go somewhere and have fun- like an adventure I guess you can say.

I got up early, slipped on my shoes, and went out to plan a special day...


Gi's POV

I woke up to a tweet- from Louis.

Louis tweeted a picture of him and I- in my backyard under the weeping willow on the big rock in the backyard kissing. (If u don't know what it is- it is a pretty tree- that is all I can say. just look it up u lazy people...)

awe! That was so sweet!

I got ready, and walked downstairs ate some breakfast, then heard someone upstiars, I knew it wasn't Liam, mum or dad since they all were out, so I quietly walked upstairs towards my room.

On my desk was a note saying, "Happy Anniversary! I will be here tonight at 7 to take you somewhere special. Choose something in one of the bags. I went shopping!! Love always, Louis"

Awe! That is so sweet. I cant believe he went shopping! But it is kind of weird at the same time. It reminds me of something those tumblr people always want.

At 6....

I put on a pair of shorts, and a crop top that says "Good vibes" on it from brandy melville and a pair of black converse.

That is when the doorbell rang, signaling Louis was here.



I walked downstairs, but by the time I got down the stairs, Liam answered the door.

"Bye LiLi," I said

"Bye Gi. Be good. and Lou, I. am. watching. you." he joked

"Byeeee" we sang as we left the house

We headed out of the driveway, and headed to the surprise. That is when she will be loved by maroon 5 started playing. I started singing out of habit. Ever since I got out of that stupid basement, that was one of my favorite songs.

I honestly didnt know I was even singing until the song ended and Louis started laughing. "You know, you have a really amazing voice. I am sure that Simon would love to sign you," he told me.

"How about no. I mean, yes that would be a dream come true, but your stupid fans and the world would judge me. I can see it making headlines already. 'Gi Payne uses her world famous brother, boyfriend, and friends One Direction to become famous,' I dont want to be judged." I said

He just stayed quiet, and seemed to be really upset after I said that, but then he held my hand and rubbed small circles into my hand. Secretly, Ive always wanted to win a jumbo teddy bear. I just want one because then i can always cuddle it and have it in my bedroom and ugh it is just perfect!



Soon after, we pulled up to a carnival! With a concert at 10!

"Come on!" I said as i jumped out of the car with Lou close behind.

We then played those little carnival games.

Lou pulled me on every babyish ride and we eat tuns of cotton candy, to the point where we both were on sugar rushes, and that isnt good, because have you seen us? WE ARE HYPER FREAKS ON A DAILY BASIS. Right in the middle of the craziness, he pulled me close to him, and whispers, "i love you, I really do."And then kissed me passionatly. Even though it was completely random, it was perfect. Like a Cinderella story.

We soon after went on the Ferris Wheel. Once we got to the top, he told me, "From the moment I met you, I knew I loved you, never before have I seen such a perfect girl. When I look into your eyes, it is like I fall in love with you over and over again. When the angels ask me which moment of my life was the best, I am going to say every moment I have ever spent with you. I love you and all your little things." He then slid a promise ring on my fingure. He then leaned in an kissed me. "Gi I love you."

Soon after, we went to the concert that the carnival had.

A few ours later...


We were about to leave, but I really wanted to do one of those fortune teller game machine thingy. We put the token into the machine and it said, "Oh look at you two all happy in love, just remember happiness doesnt last forever. We are always watching..." and then it spit out a little piece of paper with what it said written on it...

"Lets get out of here," Louis said as he kissed me and grabbed my hand, taking me back to the car.

We headed back to the car and we had a great time, but i was bummed that I didnt win a jumbo teddy bear. Once we got to the car, a JUMBO TEDDY BEAR WAS STRAPPED TO THE ROOF OF THE CAR. AND I MEAN J-U-M-B-O WITH A HUGE HEART IN ITS HAND.

"AHHHHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAAA!" I screamed

"I love it! How? when? Who?" i said extremely excited

Louid laughed, and said, "lets talk about this when we get home."

All i can think was, 'this day couldnt be any better..."
