This is just a short and kinda weird one-shot, and I don't really know which character I should use, so...yeah...and this is also kind of a composition I have to write as homework, but I need you guys to tell me if this looks like a short story...

Looking at the time on the clock, you swallow in fear and hug yourself tightly on the chair along the white and empty hallway. It is almost time. The results will be almost here.

"Hey, if you can...will you still choose this path?" His unexpected question make you widen your eyes, but you reply truthfully, "We can't change anything that has happened in the past. And even if I can...yes. I will."

The door to the room opens, and a doctor walks out, taking off his gloves and surgical mask. You quickly stand up, looking at him half in hope and desperation, and the only words that can come out of your mouth is:
"Is he here?"
