Itona x Reader {Childhood Friends}

First Itona one-shot! I will try my best to write this since Itona is...well, kind of like a kuudere.

Also, this one-shot will be like a reader insert for the episode where Itona's past is explained in season 2.

Your POV

Walking down the street, you look through your phone for some new music when you hear a loud sound of something being destroyed around the corner.

Quickly rushing over, you arrived just in time to see a boy in a red sleeveless shirt with white tentacles coming out from his head, and when he turns around at your surprised gasp, you look into his slightly crazed yellow eyes.

"Itona?"

"(Y/N)?"

Both of you ask each other, looking into each other's eyes. You open your mouth to say something, but when he notices that people are starting to come over, he jumps into the sky, disappearing.

You stay shocked for a while before starting to run towards the direction he jumped off to, anxious and worried.

Being born into a world where only the powerful can exist, you were always isolated in school, and couldn't be friends with anyone. But when your father introduced Itona to you, he didn't show any greed, and instead acted like a pervert.

You don't like him at first, but when he stood up for you when you were bullied, you start to trust him and finally admits him as a friend.

The only friend you have.

However, his father's company became broke, and he disappears a week after his parents left him, and you couldn't find him, causing you to become alone again.

But you never blamed him. You only blamed yourself for not being nicer to him, and thus causing you to become more isolated and alone, only caring about your grades, creating a cold facde in front of everyone.

As you arrived into an alley, you stop, breathing heavily when you see him finally stopping, his tentacles crushing a phone.

"Ito—"

"Your human face is finally showing, Itona-kun."

As you start to said his name, a yellow monster with the same tentacles as him appears with a bunch of people about your age behind it.

"Big brother?" Itona said, and you take a step back in shock, causing their attention to move towards you.

"Wh-Who are you?" You stammer, leaning against the wall for support.

Before they can reply, something is thrown to the ground and smoke comes out. Coughing, you quickly move towards where Itona is, but you watched as his tentacles melt and a net is thrown over him, a bunch of white-clothed people coming out of nowhere and taking him away.
