I dont like the "George was never able to produce a patronus again because all his happy memories were with Fred" idea. It makes the assumption that George would NEVER be able to make more happy memories or that he'd spend the rest of his life miserable. Do I think he'd take it horribly? Yes. Do I think he'd need time? Yes. Will he ever be conmpletely same? Of course, not.
But in canon or headcanon, I want George to be happy. I want him to someday tell his kids about their uncle and all the things they did together.
