We went home that night after going to out to eat, Ellie was exhausted, I could tell she didn't want us to know that but we did.
So when it was time to go to bed, we hurried into PJ's and fell asleep quickly, smiles on our faces despite the stupid and horrible past.
We had each other and that's all we needed.
I don't remember the contents of my dream but all I know is that it was interrupted by Jacob's scream. I shot out of bed, to his room with Ellie at my side, but he wasn't there. We threw on our coats and went out screaming his name, but it was a just a waste of breath for we never heard him reply or cry out to us.
We called the police but they said that he must've sneaked out but that wasn't the case we would try to say but they wouldn't listen to us.
Jacob has become my whole life and I can't live my life here with out him.
And so I wouldn't.
