Ellie held my hand as we walked down the street, it reminds me of how my parents used to be.
All they have done the last couple of years is let me walk across the streets alone, hoping some idiot wouldn't be paying attention to the road.
"Amelia,where do you want to go eat?" Ellie said, bringing me out of the painful memory. I looked up at her smiling face,"Anywhere they have food because I'm starving!" I exclaim to her.
"Why didn't you eat before you came out into the city? Don't your parents know?" Those dang questions. My eyes began to tear up, why did Ellie have to bring up my parents?
"My parents don't care about me, they want me to go die in a hole that I apparently came from."
Don't cry! Don't cry! Don't cry! Ugh, are you freaking serious!
"Sweetheart, please don't cry. I didn't mean to upset you." She bent down, hugging my small figure."Shh, it's alright" she said to me multiple times.
When I had calmed down enough, we began to walk down the streets once again.
Every once in a while, Ellie would glance down at me. When she did, her smile dropped and worry appeared in her magnificent blue eyes
